ESS M3 Supercharger Update

Is there a Vortech V3si SQ ( super quiet ) option available or is the V3si already SQ ? Vortech V2 SC's had this option.

The V3Si is even more quiet than the V2SQ. Trust me when I say that noise level is not an issue at all with the V3Si.

It's quiet? Read what three customers said including AJ.

You can't here the blower!! My wife can't even hear it, and that says soooo much about this being the quietest supercharger available today!!

Just buy the kit already, once you do, you will be soo happy, you will be writing pages and pages of good reviews

Like others have said the SC is super quiet. A wife/gf would not even hear it but they would feel all that power

Back on subject, there are no dips with this kit now you say.. A while back ago someone had added Akrapovic full system and there was a dip in the lower RPM's and back then there was a post on here that with the ESS tune that this dip would get worked out but nothing ever was posted for a follow up on this dip and tune. The reason I ask is because in the past we saw bigger dips when a supercharger was added. On the new M3 I noticed a dip in the lower RPM's to where before on the 330 ZHP's it was around 4000 RPM.

Plan on tuning my new M3 but just don't want to run into the same issues I had before with the 330.

PS: Do you have any dyno graphs with someone running your ESS tune with a full Akrapovic system and one with your ESS kit along with the Akrapovic system?

Bob's story brings back a memory when I was romping on the M and was doing about 120mph when the g/f slapped me accross the backside of my head while yelling stop ( big mistake on her part ) so at that point I power shifted next thing you know I'm at 180+mph and my girl looks like she has seen a ghost and wasn't breathing ..... Slowed down and she's like what's wrong with you ??? I replyed slap me again like that and your seeing 200mph .... Ever since then she never opens her mouth and keeps her hands to herself .....

With that being said, woman whine & if you can handle a woman's whine you can handle the car !!!!

Shit the car puts a smile on your face and performs everytime .....

Thanks Looks like the tune with the ESS kit/Akrapovic exhaust does run quite well and the dip is smoothened out from 2700-3100. It is there but barely even noticeable with ESS Supercharger on there. In a previous dyno I had seen with just the Akrapovic exhaust along with an ESS tune still had a dip and it seemed bigger than the one in this graph.

Am now considering the Akrapovic Exhaust with the ESS kit

1 mile, but if kept going, limiter in 6th, 320kph on man, and 330 DCT

Hey guys,

Just want to share with all of you.I was so lucky that I ran into 2 supercar in the pass weekend,first I ran into a lambo LP560,we start at about 40mph, we were kinda even until I hit about 90+, than I pulled one car away,we ran two time,same result,than he high beam my ass n of course he exit,just today I ran into ferrari F430,it was a easy win,but i still want to own one of those.


I had VT2 575, 6sp, xpipe, meisterschaft gt2

And get rid of that exhaust and put on a Dinan Full Exhaust and you'll put 6 cars on the LP .. Trust me i had the same exhaust
