Do yourselves a favor and put a label on your helmet with your name, blood type, and date of last tetanus shot. Hopefully it will never be needed, but in case it is, first responders have the info needed to help.

i've thought about this, but haven't done it yet. track decals makes a nice decal for this. i forget my blood type though...

when i first got my helmet, the guy at the helmet store told me to go home and wear it for an hour or two just to make sure it wasn't hitting any pressure points or whatever (so i could return it if it was no good for me). so i was sitting in my room playing video games (happened to be gran turismo) when the wife comes home. she thought i was such a dork and didn't believe my story.

I mean like all things, the first time you wear something shouldn't be the time you need it.

Example - As a gun enthusiast, the first time you shoot your gun shouldn't be when someone is breaking in your house at 3 AM.

I think I've fixed this. Being tech savvy when it comes to photos is not my strength.

Has anyone ever gotten a hard time from a club for having stickers on a helmet? I've had at least one tech inspection tell me they don't allow them because they're worried it would hide a crack or damage. Seemed like bullshit.

Wow -- no. I've given some thought about cleaning my off with the exception of the SCCA scan bar but I'm also contemplating picking up a new helmet so laziness discourages me. In as much as most clubs for track days require SA helmets, it would take a huge obvious impact to make a crack, and that wouldn't be covered by a little sticker.
