Accelerating through the gears with Fabspeed and Remus

I shot this on my I Phone 3Gs last night. The window was slightly opened so you can hear the sound of the Remus Sport and Fab speed HFC and Resonator setup.

I am at 5500ft above sea level so performance is somewhat down compared to sea level, but with the software remap and full exhaust with BMC filter, it accelerates better than any other M3 Ive seen.

yes I know I wasn't wearing my seatbelt in these videos. I am very sorry for anyone I may have frightened etc etc...

nice ,how come you have change uplights above your rev counter ? mine does not do this

yours must be the dct as dont think the manual has these lights

mike if you have 6sp you won't have the lights, but i know the shift lights are already in our cars, just have to enable them somehow:-)

Love the Remus+Fabspeed Set up. I also got the Remus Sport and Fabspeed X-Pipe on my M as well.

It really works well! Car revs incredibly quick and easy with this setup.
I find there is a little too much drone for my liking though.

I have bought the Akrapovic full titanium system since it is not as loud.
Will post vid after the 11 th once it's fitted.

a bit of drone below 3000rpm. I am pedantic re sound, so I'm probably not the best person to ask. Most people who hear it really love it, but my wife hates it. Enough said! She asked me to take it off, so I bought the akrapovic sytem as it's quieter. Hope she likes that, I know I sure will

the 6sp doesn't have the same housing around the rev counter as the DCT. the first thing you will notice in daylight is the aluminium surround with the slots in it which house the shift lights. It was the first thing I noticed when I test drove the DCT in Sept before I bought mine.

I had the 2008 6sp before the DCT. don't think you can retro fit?

. But anyways, impressive acceleration and the exhaust sounds good from inside.

I really like the sound of the exhaust when it hits 2k rpm.
