I just pulled the trigger on a set from this link. Will report back when they arrive next week.
So, my EBay mats arrived today. I'm no concourse de elegance quality verifier but they do seem to be OEM M3 mats. Tag included, and sealed in a bag - although sealing plastic bags isn't hard for anyone with a small business to do.

These are also thinner than the mats I currently have and are markedly different in their backings - the new mats have a checkered pattern anti-slip that my existing ones don't have. Color seems spot on despite any shading differences that may show up in the photos. The weave and texture of the nap are also pretty identical when accounting for the age and cleanliness of my used ones.
Thanks for the feedback. Just pulled the trigger on what seems to be the last set of his.

The OE delivered floor mats that came with my 2011.5 E90 M3 have the checkered pattern on the back.

The same Ebay seller has some listed, but is asking crazy money for them. :

My matwise floor mats

Feels like oem carpet and same thickness as oem
Free lifetime replacement
No logos which make it nice and clean on the floor
Under $80 shipped

Note about the difference in shape. My e93 came with non e93 mats so at least these fit properly 😂

Are the front OEM floor mats the same across all three platforms (E90/92/93)?

Thank you to leemik for the suggestion for M2 mats, I ordered a set of these for my E93 and the drivers side is an exact match for the mat coming out, passenger side is about 1cm smaller across. I think they complement the recent pedal addition quite nicely.

I've had a brand new set of fresh mats in my trunk for almost 2 years. No sense dirtying them up when the old mats still work.

Most of the "OE" mats (all from my local dealer BTW) I have purchased over the last 5-6 years have been of lower quality overall. The last set of E46 vert mats I purchased were considerably flimsier than the ones they replaced. In addition, Velcro that was sewn onto the earlier ones was just "glued" onto the newer replacements and after a year or so the heat apparently ruined the glue and they came off the mat. Seriously unhappy about that.

I like the M Performance mats, nice to have something different than yet another "M3" logo....

I bought some. Will hold onto them for the future. Wish they were the quality and thickness of the originals.

I concur, ordered a set today.
Lifetime warranty, OE quality, excellent price, understated.

I’m the same lol. Bought them, but I’m just storing them for the long haul.

That was 7 days ago, fingers crossed they are actually able to get them!
FYI to anyone thinking about going this route. they emailed me today to say that they are completely out of stock (after waiting 2 weeks). i ended up ordering from the ebay link.

I got mine yesterday and the packaging was ridiculous they plastic wrapped some cardboard and folded the mats in half to shove them in. Laying them flat now to see that hopefully the crease comes out.

Same for mine but they flatten out in a few minutes. You can put them out in the sun to help. Not sure who is packing these mats, but they don't have any common sense.
