Convertible inners have different wiring on the inner lamps than pre LCI. Just need to swap the wires to the correct positions.

So i was using the Carly App and noticed that somehow there are daytime running lights for “inner break lights” was switched on. I switched them off and they are no longer on during the day. But switch back on when my headlights come on. Is there a way to code that out? Or would i have to do something with coding? Thanks

I remember reading that selected pre-LCI cars might need to swap out the FRM to the latest FRM3 module in order to “complete” the LCI taillights update. That said, some also claimed that you don’t need that module. Could be confusing but I guess perhaps you might wanna research more about that? Sorry can’t be of any help.

Revert your frm to stock settings and recode the tail lights. Just turn off all the tail light bulb checks. If that doesn't work you'll most likely need ncs expert to disable them when headlights are on. I'm not 100% sure but I believe all Lci tail lights are plug and play with coding, but someone above mentioned it is a wiring thing with convertibles so I'd do a bit of research on the forums.

OP, do you understand what is meant by swapping the wires? You don't need a new FRM but you will need to code out the lamp checks. For now, put everything back that you coded in carly until you straighten out your wires.

Looks like the "Follow Me" lights. I had them on my Benz and I saw in the carly app as well. Be sure to check that it's off in both sections. By both sections I cant remember the letters but for some coding, you have to code in two different sections to change something.

I think it must be wiring. I might be able to code out the lights but it looks like the wiring is powering on the follow me/fog lights instead of the leds
