Good Shop for Coilover Install + EDC Delete
Does anyone here know of a good shop for coilover install and coding? I'm located in downtown DC but willing to make the trip to a good place. I got a quote from RRT in Virginia and it was over $1200. This seemed pretty high to me, correct me if I'm wrong.
Anyone have some other suggestions? Thanks! |

Suggestion would be to get quotes and qualify each with how confident they sound on getting that suspension setup to your intended use. Alternatively, go to lowest quote for just the install and have RRT do the corner balance and alignment.

Seems high for the install. Agree with the above post on bidding it out.
Cheapest way to delete EDC is probably gonna be Alex@Alpine. http://www.alpinemss.com/product_p/rme.htm Good time to get any other coding done you may want as well since it's all included in the cost. |

Get RRT to code out your EDC. They don't offer it as a business but they know someone who can perhaps do it for like $50 if hes in town. Dude also codes other stuff.

I just did bilstein struts on my e90 m3 in my driveway. Maybe 4.5 hours for front and back while messing around and taking my time. Didn't require that much specialty tools other than a spring compressor rented from advance auto. You can do it yourself, I'm down to help if you need it.
