Changed the tranny fluid, I dropped the tranny cooler lines the other day for rb service and saw how black the tranny fluid was so decided to change it. I dropped the cooler lines again, rigged up some hose and blew the tranny.... cooler out of remaining fluid. Then flushed a liter of clean fluid through the cooler the opposite way. Then cleaned the filter and filled up the tranny. It took just over 2.5 liters but I'll check the tranny for a top off after I drive the car.....needless to say I cleaned up my dirty tranny

I drove to work, then to the gas station on the way home.
It was a bad time. I went to one pump, swiped my card, put the pump in. No gas wanted to come out, then it was a pain for the pump to sense the nozzle was back in to end the transaction. I closed my tank, then went to another pump. Same problem. I go into the mini-building to talk to what seemed like the owner not just a worker. Told her the pump won't pump. She tells me to go end the transaction out there and come back and we will do it inside. We do that, I go out still doesn't work. She canceled the transaction. I left to go to another station. I thought it was just me, but the there was a girl who was able to get gas to flow, but in the 15 minutes of me playing games with pumps only $4.00 of gas was flowing to her tank. She eventually gave up as well. Sounds like I am not going back to the only Sunoco in my area ever again......... |

Swapped the stock 08-09 filter for a macht schnell drop in. It definitely needed to be replaced so figured I'd try a non-charcoal version, but low expectations for any difference.

Got hit by a raccoon who thought it was a good idea to follow the path of my evasive maneuver.
No condolences given for stupidity. On the other hand, I am surprised by the rigidity of Carbon fiber materials. I wasn't going that slow either..

It wasn't too bad. 45 min to make a copy of the ecm, then about 7 min to update with 240e and then 7 min or less to load the tune. I used a charger on 10 amps under the hood to be safe. Just follow his directions exactly and you will be fine. Enjoy!

Yes, my sister lived in Suches several years ago and I knew that would be a good run as well. Had to medicate my wife so she didn't air brake and freak out. LOL...

First wash since October, Varis diffuser installed, IND paint matched reflector deletes, IND "Edition" M3 badge. Had some down time so my little brother offered to photograph my car.
