A local composites manufacturer responsible for some of the most sucessful ALMS, Grand Am, and Formula cars in the US manufactures IND's new Carbon Fiber roofs for the E90 M3. These roofs are made by molding an OEM metal roof panel and have flawless fit, finish, and quality. IND can perform installation service for this piece, or can ship the roof to a qualified body shop.

WOW, u guys just took this to a whole diff level.... Props to u guys.

However, i must say, Im not quite happy with this. The cf roof was the one thing us
e92'ers had that the e90's can only envy us for.............. UNTIL NOW.... lol

Once again, good luck with this, im only jk, this would b a must do for me if I had an e90...

It looks like those people with E90's with a moonroof, will never get this mod? I would think that most people with E90's have a moonroof?

well i think if you get this mod, u'll be removing your moonroof. some people got e90s with a moonroof because it was on the lot like that. i am sure IND will get a few takers for this awesome product!

Wonderful idea and props to IND for offering this. However, I have a sunroof on my E90 and I am not getting rid of it. Love it.

On the bright side, I am assuming this CF can be installed on non-M cars. So that has to open up the market a bit.

hmmm...I actually ordered my e90 M3 without a moonroof, along with skipping almost all the other options also

i also am curious to see if this would work on a non M E90.

regarding the sunroof issue, what if an E90 owner has sunroof, can you build around it ? i think that would be most ideal. Or even E92 guys with sunroof can just have the rest of the roof done in CF and keep their sunroofs?

Possible or no ?

My friend had Vorsteiner E46M3 C/F roof in his "moonroof"ed E46M3.
He had to buy a couple of roof support (some straight metal bar go across the roof that non- moon roof E46M3 had) parts. And he took off moonroof all the way to have it.

But later Vorsteiner released moonroof cut out C/F roof for E46M3. So I'm sure it's possible IND to develop moonroof cutout C/F roof.

By the way, usually roof installation is more expensive than actual c/f roof price since they have to cut out roof, take front/rear windshields etc.

Installation estimates I got was 2200-2500.
I don't know that will include Jet Black shark fin or not.

We can have the roof made in 1x1 or 2x2 carbon fiber. They take 1 week to produce and we can ship anywhere in the world
