Gintani Stage 2 M3 (7.5PSI) VS. 2014 Nissan GTR w/ COBB TUNED W/ MIDPIPES

I Finally got a chance to race a GTR, I was curious from the day I put my S/C kit on how it would hold up against a GTR modded or not. The main dis- advantage I had was my car being 6MT, I Finally put that thought of how I would do to rest. This run was done from 60-70km/h in 2nd gear sorry for the crap quality my go-pro seems to die at the worst times. Enjoy!

Best part of the race was hearing the GTR owner scream WOW! as the M3 passes him at 0.21!

Impressive run but the rolling start gave you the edge. From 0, the GTR most likely would have left you. It's 4 wheel drive system is pretty damm good.

Not to mention having trouble keeping traction in 1st and 2nd gear with a 6MT. I know I've been there many times!

Enjoyed the video!

I don't get roll racing AWD cars. There's a significant disadvantage to the AWD car and a RWD setup like the m3 is made for highway pulls upstairs. From a dig this would've been way diff. Your car still moves out though.

Quoted for truth. My 6MT with stock size PSS kills me (I'm superchaged, VF650) from a dig; first 3 gears trip traction control.

Good kill though OP, GTR is a beast when correctly modded

Definitely need some meatier tires on the rear to help get that power to the ground.

Surprised nobody's told you that was nice stick-work.

Be careful out there...

I do a lot of roll-racing with my 997.2 TTS. With my recent engine, suspension and tire mods, I'm now doing 0-60mph in 2.5 and 0-100mph in 5.9...so basically as fast as a Veyron from a dig. I know that I will beat pretty much anything from a standstill, but I still enjoy racing from a roll. Next airstrip event I'm bringing both my Porsche and M3. Should be fun.
