Thinking of selling, value question.

Hey guys, I've been thinking about selling my car but would appreciate some help in the value department.
Just seems like they are all over the place and there's not much available online to compare with this being a 6 speed convertible.

I've owned it since Oct 2017.
Clean car with all the maintenance up to date.

2013 M3 Convertible
Jerez Black
43k miles
Bamboo beige interior

No mods except oem exhaust mod and f10 shift knob

Clean car fax no accidents
Thanks

Unfortunately, convertible values are not on par with coupes and sedans. I would say $28K - $30K for this. I purchased a similar mileage 2013 E93 (also 6-speed) in February 2020 for below this, but I know used car prices have crept up a bit since then.

I would say how long you want to hold on it will determine pricing.

It looks clean, there are similar cars priced in the $35k range but honestly most of them seem like they've been sitting for at least a month.

https://www.vaughnmotorgroup.com/vdp...ville-FL-32223

Some dealers will sit on things and probably end up taking low $30's for one of these. The people who want an enthusiast spec car in the mid 30's and above aren't looking for E93's.

I'd say list it for $35 if you want to and then just be prepared to lower the price based on interest. You might find someone who just really likes the car and wants it for the warm weather enough to pay the premium, but I agree you might really be closer to the 28-30 range when all is said and done unless you want to sit on it til the weather gets cold and then your pricing gets worse.

Consider seeing what Carvana and Vroom will give you for comparison.

So actually I got the idea after looking on Carvana. They offered me 35k which is exactly what I paid 3 years ago for the car. Just seems extremely tempting to get out of it virtually free and a whole lot of fun.

I'd probably take that in a heartbeat. Especially given no hassle or questions about rod bearings.

The market is crazy right now. Carvana resold my Mazda CX-9 with 17k miles for literally more than I paid.

Honestly I'd take that 35k offer and run. You have a very nice car but will take a niche buyer at that price range with a 6MT. I was with everyone else on here at $28-30k.

(I'm a fellow 6MT E93 owner, purchased a 11 Mineral, Blk/Red w/ 48kmi for $25k back in Oct 18. I got a Carvana offer at $27k this week)

This.

I would’ve sold it the second they offered 35k. That’s crazy price

I don't care what anyone says about the added weight. With the top down, this car is a blast to drive.

+1 Sound is intoxicating.....

I bought my similar 2011 with only 38K miles in February on CarsandBids.com for $26,750 (stole it). It's mint

Wow that's gorgeous and I love that interior.
Manual verts are pretty rare and it does take a special buyer to want one.
I got to tell you though, when I hear it roaring with the top down it just gives me goose bumps every time. 😃
