I am having the exact same issue you had above! Android auto resolution is stretched. Tried it on my mates iPhone and it looks fine on the Apple Carplay, but the android resolution isn't clear. I have been into the advanced settings and changed the Aspect ratio and it doesn't make a difference? In fact, which ever Aspect ratio I select, the resolution looks the same? Any pointers? Could you maybe take a picture of your settings in case mine is out? I have the following Limcet unit £260.59 35%OFF | Wireless Apple Carplay For BMW CCC 1 3 5 6 7 sertes X1 X3 X5 X6 Z4 E60 E61 E62 E63 E70 E71 E8 Android Auto Mirroring Car Play https://a.aliexpress.com/_mMyKeea - the unit might look slightly different but the interface and the settings is exactly the same as yours I have a 2009 e93 m3 with the CCC unit Thanks for any help in advance |

So a small update, I have fixed the resolution issue! Contacted the seller on Ali express, who got me to try a few things, all which didn't resolve it. So they sent me a software update. Updated the unit software and it works a treat! Looks stunning now.
Just need to sort the sound issue now (only plays through the right speaker) - need to test whether it's the aux cable from the unit or the aux port itself. Anyone have any ideas? Otherwise very happy! |

I installed a joyeauto cic carplay box a couple of days ago and for some reason the resulotion is way off. I tried all the dip switch variations from the included instructions and none seem to solve it. Has anyone encountered this problem? I tried contacting them through whatsapp but they don't respond.

Hey everyone I was wondering if anyone noticed same issue as me. Since these modules connect over AUX for the audio, I've been using it like that over a week and I had a feeling my bass was weaker. After testing, low and behold the bass is so bad and significantly less "bumpy" than using the stock CIC over Bluetooth. The module I have is Road Top and I got it from ebay but even when testing my smartphone over AUX cable, I have the same exact effect so it mustn't be the module that is the problem. Has anyone encountered this as well and is it just the way the AUX connection is in these cars? Is there some kind of fix? It's a bit of a bummer I must say.
