When I switch back to the app from another app (or I pick my phone up after a period of not using it), I will usually just pull down from the top to refresh the forum. When I do that, all of the thread titles are bold/unread and I can look in the corner and see that I’m signed out.

BTW, just got logged off again. Tried to post this in the app and now it says "You don't have permission to perform this action" so posted from my laptop.

OMG I just saw the notification on my phone lock screen from your reply so I clicked on it. I read your post but when I went to click the appreciate button, I was signed out again.

Ok I have a slight idea what is going on. can I ask which version of iOS you are using?

Just adding a quick “me too.” I’m also seeing the app frequently logged out as of app version 7.1.2. Logging back in each time has been successful.

I’m on iOS 26.5 on an iPhone 13 mini.

This is clearly a widespread problem. And of course it's not affecting me so I am trying to guess at the fix, I just put in a 'fix' for app store approval. I say 'fix' because im guessing at the problem a little bit. If the next version 7.1.3 fixes the problem for people I would love to hear it, sorry this is happening!

Thanks I will post here when it's approved, the last one was approved less then 24 hours in, so lets X our finger!. Earlier it was mentioned this happened after resuming the app from locked stated so the theory is it has to do with the different types of security when people unlock their phones. I absolutely do not want to ask people how they lock/unlock their phones, but im working off that hunch so if you notice its happening wheen resuming from locked state then that's a helpful clue too

I think it’s all tied together. The app doesn’t know you are logged in so it can’t take you to your last post. I’m holding out hope the update gets approved fast today and we can see results one way or another. I gotta sit in a holding pattern until I know if that fix works. Let’s hope!

I just installed 7.1.3 on my iPhone 13 mini running iOS 26.5. For me it's a step back. I can't get logged in. Some of the login attempts don't work at all: the account avatar stays as the generic head icon. Other login attempts initially appear to work — the account avatar in the upper right switches over to my BIMMERPOST account avatar — but as soon as I tap into a thread or tap the account avatar to look at my account, the app reverts back to not-logged-in state. So, either way, I essentially cannot login with 7.1.3.

I've also tried completely deleting the app from my iPhone and reinstalling it from scratch. No help. So, for now, I'm posting this from my MacBook Air.

apptest, just updated to 7.1.3 and tried several times to login with no luck.

apptest It does seem like the bug where it takes me back to the first page of every long thread (and the first post of most 1 page threads) has not been resolved. I tried going into all my subscribed threads and it brings me back to page one. Closed the app and reopened, then opened a thread, went to the last post, refreshed subs, then I’m back to the first post in the thread.

Esteban jefe2000 'Cane amutti ok guys, this has been a particularly nasty problem. I just sent a new version in, and apple has been good to us and approving apps really fast. Lets hope that today is the day our problems are solved... I'll update the thread again when I see the app is approved

this app update and the prior one are completely screwed up... it keeps logging me out and will not allow me to login sometimes
