Can someone chime in and tell me what's involved in this replacement. Is this a simple DIY?

removal of the valve covers are required, so a valve cover removal job. I'm sure there are some DIY guides around.

Yeah done that a few times, So once the covers are off do you just pull off the plastic part, or do I have to pull out the gear?

no with the Slonik you don't touch any gears or bolts, they just snap on.

My order from the GB arrived today and I'm super

In the middle of replacing my valve covers so I've put everything on hold until these came. Thanks Alex (Move Over) for organizing this group buy, went extremely smooth and he was on top with the updates!

Couldn't wait so I knocked the install out tonight. Very straightforward install, the hub covers snap on with OEM precision, very impressed.

My stock covers are in okay shape but they are definitely deformed.

Nice. Were u able to pry off the plastic covers without breaking them? I wonder if there's a market for used OE plastic covers.

I'd say no need within Europe man. Mate placed order yesterday with Black friday price $450, freight inclded (Sweden). On top the guys keep value down so very moderate import tax.

Finally got my set installed today. Pretty straightforward as DanMpower said. I will say the old covers were super brittle and snapped in two almost immediately.
