Sorry for the delayed response; I haven't spent much time on the site as of late. Meisterschaft was originally just a mention (i.e., no extended information) on this thread because of some difficulties that board members were reporting with Meisterschaft. I haven't heard/read any complaints in quite some time, and I was planning on adding product info in the next update. I just haven't had the luxury recently to spend time on the site.

I am having a hard time finding information and reviews on the AFE Mach Force cat back system. Does anyone have one that could post impressions?

My first post on M3Post, although I've been lurking for the past 12 months. I just wanted to say thanks to the OP (Griz) for this fantastic resource. I'm looking to upgrade the exhaust on my MY2012 E92 M3, and this has been a great starting point for me!

Griz, Well put together thread with some great information, thank you!
Here's a picture of the Remus "Carbon Race" if you would like to add it to the first page: As well as an installed picture, this picture also shows the connecting pipes. (Installed by your favorite Remus dealer GMP Performance!)

All my exhaust is AR Design. Andrew is an awesome guy to deal with and is local in Denver.
AR Design Xpipe (no resonator or cats) AR Design OEM Exhaust mod +41 wheel HP from his exhaust. No set price, this was a one off xpipe w/ OEM mod, but i do believe he is willing to make some if there are enough people interested Pics/Video

AE Performance
Just installed the AE Performance stage 3 exhaust on my E93. The x-braces on the convertible needed to dropped with some spacers to clear the pipes, but not a big deal. Haven't seen too many comments on AE Performance, but I can vouch for the fit and finish and the sound is rich with no drone. I'm a stock M3'er so basically my first add-on aside from wheels. Thanks AE Performance, nice work.

Great thread. Additionally to this I've created a sound database with a lot of valve exhaust for the M3 E90/92. I think it provides a nice overview and how the exhausts could sound. Moreover it also includes valve exhausts for other BMW models.
If you don't understand something because it is written in german, feel free to ask. Greetings from BMW town munich! |

thanks for the video. This thread is how I discovered M3Post and the video helped me decide on my new exhaust.
Went with the Meisterschaft GT2 Race - Ahmed at VividRacing helped me out and the guys at ICS in Stamford, CT did a great quick install |

I'm also looking for some user info and feedback on AFE exhaust systems as well. I have heard one from the outside, and it had a deep authoritative note, not overly loud or out of character though. Talked to the owner who was pleased with it, didn't complain of drone. Didn't get to ride in it myself though.

Hi guys, I've been a member of this forum for a couple of years but have not been active because I just don't mod my cars much.
I just took delivery of a new M3 and decided to try a cat back system for a little more sound. I found what looked like a very affordable system - CNT racing. I didn't see it mentioned on here but took a chance anyway. It's all polished stainless, completely bolt-on with nice 3.5 inch quad outlets with rolled edges and the best part - $399 shipped! I got it yesterday and took it out of the box to take a look. I'm very pleased, the quality looks great and shipping from Cali took less than a week. I know, I know, it's cheap and who wants to put junk on their $75,000 baby? Not me. I'm going to try to do the install this week or sometime next week on my neighbor's lift. I'll take some pics and let you guys know how it fits, looks, and sounds. I figured for $400 bucks I could toss it if it sucks. but so far it looks fantastic. Here's a link CNT Racing exhaust for M3 |
