Rod Bearings - 2011 - 62k Miles

Did this to my 2011 M3 62k Miles, BE and ARP.
All bearings had some wear, not as bad as I have seen, but there should be none.
Having the below printed guide helps a lot with the reassembly checklist too.

Used the video on here as well.

Posted an engine bay pic and someone pointed out I was missing my passenger side headlight gasket which I had never noticed before. Replaced a missing rear seat ISOFIX cover and both the cup holder covers while I was at it. Almost done replacing all the small missing or worn items now and getting it up to my OCD standards:

Recaro Sportster CS.

They're the same seat that BMW used for the M Performance seats. They fit the car so well. You can even get them with the side airbag and seat heating to work with the oem controls. AMX Performance sells either covers, or the full seat and covers with whatever options you want, with leather that is the same as factory. ///M embossed headrests, the ///M stripes like in the E36 vaders, whatever.

Yeah, I noticed that.

Are you part of the socal_bmw_la club?
I work nights, so it's hard to come to their 6-7am meets. But, I try to come out as much as possible.

Does AMX charge an arm and a leg? I've checked their site out but haven't seen anyone post pricing, etc. I have an ABE pole position I ordered for my 911 in the summer that still hasn't shipped yet that I may throw in for a couple months of the year, but would like something to match bamboo better and that looks like the best option.

Short answer, yes, but from everything I've seen and read, it's absolutely worth it. You can see more here: https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1684896

Working on getting my quickjack together so I can get some winter maintenance knocked out. After my first round, I had a majority of my fittings leaking. Took it all back apart last night and got 4 of them re-done. Couple more need done and then try to test it out again.

If you used the liquid thread lock they provided you're guaranteed to chase leaks. I threw it away and used Teflon tape and had no leaks first time through the assembly
