I don't even care if the z06 qualifies as a Supercar when it comes to lap times.

It's an amazing sports car. The 911 gt3 is called a sports car and the z06 is in its league or slightly above. It's one of the best American sports cars ever made. I used to laugh at corvettes, until the c8 z06 which is the first time Americans admitted their old designs are outdated and aren't great and finally decided to not just steal the Ferrari look as theyve always done, but be inspired and make an awesome NA v8 flatplane crank which is how every v8 that sings a beautiful song should be.

I agree. There is no real definition.

However what we know of to be the definition of the past, the z06 now sits in that class. That's all i'm saying. I don't care if people really don't think it is a supercar. But it's just a fact that it is now. They'll learn to accept it and put their insecurities aside and embrace it.

The Corvette was over .5 seconds faster than the GT3 RS and just behind the McLaren Senna on the leaderboard.

It's basically the same speed as the GT3, non-RS. This is exactly what I thought they were targeting with the Z06. While the regular GT3 isn't fast enough in the turns to make up for the lack of top-end, the GT3 RS should be and is significantly faster than the GT3. The GT3 RS should smash it with it's next-level downforce in turns and walk away...but that level is basically non-daily as well and not practical to drive off the course, vs. the Z06 which is definitely intended to. The GT3 was faster in turns with better front-end turn-in and grip and the Z06 was faster in straights, but obviously still pretty good in turns. Also from the testers, it's easier to get to 8/10ths in the Z06, but harder to get that last 2/10ths than the GT3.

With Savagegeese showing a significantly difference in turn speed on the course with the Z06 and GT3, I'd say something is wrong with the test above. The RS would be even faster in the turns, not slower. The testers with Savagegeese went pretty far to ensure both cars were on equal standing for tires, conditions, etc.

If you look at other results for the GT3 RS, it's in a totally different league than the GT3 and the Z06 with far more engineering and should not be competing with it, except in a drag race.

I'd be lucky to get mine a year from now at the rate things are going and I was just over 250 on their list.

They got 180 allocations to date, but they've only called up to 124 on the list? Countdown to someone suing them for deceptive business practices.

I'll buy something else.

There were 3 on the dealer floor in the Atlantic City one 2 weeks ago. Had stickers on them but I just assumed they were spoken for already? I didn’t ask cause I fucking hate all car salesman. Lol. I drove my buddy to pick up his ZR-1 then smoked him down the expressway. Nissan FTW. 🤷😃
