LOL well, I wont say this is over, until I see my car at South Bay BMW.
The last time I said it was over, I got burned, accused of NSF and thoroughly berated. So lets hope for the best, expect the worst.

Congrats Ken!
From ClubBimmer.com, Atlanta Ga. I'm the Dinan Rep at Global Imports BMW in Atlanta, let me know when you're ready to make the M3 faster. Paying only $60k should have left you plenty of nickels and dimes for mods! By the way, my vote goes to [PWN3DFIL] |

Not only does your M3 needs to be thoroughly checked up by South Bay (kudos goes to them), but also you need to drive it for at least around 300-500 miles error-free to call it over (in my opinion that is). Here, I am glad to see that the deal went through and I sincerely hope that everything goes smoothly with your M3 in the future. Best of luck enjoying the beast!

I'm really glad the dealership finally decided to do this transaction after all the BS they put up.
This is an amazing story and it's only going to get better. Had you made the choice of not ever posting your story about the Ebay auction with Husker, none of this would be possible. This thread will never be forgotten. Oh, Ken, when you get your new M3 post pics and info in this thread first so that you end the story in the thread that it started. After we see the delivery pics, you can post another thread regarding how it drives and possibly more pics there as well. |

I stumble upon other forums and thats when I found out about this story. I would like to congratulate you and actually thank you.
I'm pretty speech less 3 months ago I was the part of the Internet staff at Lincoln of BMW/Husker Auto Group and apparently I was laid off by Micheal Barrett who allegedly stole my Internet leads. Being force to sign the paper for termination I just quit my job and happily making more money as a sale rep Suzuki Auto Plex. Husker went to shit after all the changes that Van Tyul Enterprise try to do when Fil Cantani did some changes to the dealership. Hence, coming from to a Florida Dealership to Nebraska didn't do much to improved the whole system. Cutting pay to loyal workers, spending more on trades, and spending more money on the dealership (Starbuck coffee machines, free pizza to the customers) which wasn't necessary. To me I felt this was karma....and I'm deeply satisfied Enjoy your new E90 M3 =) Last edited by Revolution Boi; 03-28-2008 at 03:17 AM.. Reason: Playing it Safe |

A lot has happened at Husker and I've worked there for about year and a half. Our old GM (Rob Patterson) wanted to change the image of sales rep in the dealership to be trustworthy and honest.
But now the image has change into greedy scums who don't care about their customers. From what I hear about Mr. Barrett from other dealerships that he used to work (Anderson Ford of Lincoln, Capitol Mitsubishi, and Suzuki Auto Plex). Probably not a person you would want to buy from. Everything you need to know about Husker just ask, I'll try my best to answer them. Last edited by Revolution Boi; 03-28-2008 at 04:01 AM.. |

I suggest that you don't go down this road. You're getting into territory that has little to do with the issue at hand; i.e., a car was auctioned on eBay and the winning bidder was at first denied. Now it has been resolved and the winning bidder has the car.
Everything else is hearsay and I personally feel it should not be part of this discussion. Jokes are one thing but accusations at this level are something else. Ken has his car. Be happy. Let it go. Consumer injustice (for the lack of a better term) happens all the time. This time justice prevailed. Let it go at that.... |
