Have been contemplating doing this since I saw a FB post about it this week.

Did you order a spare plenum for this project or do it to the one on your car?

Trying to gauge the potential of me ruining my plenum and needing to order a replacement while trying this.

That wing looks effing awesome.

Do you feel a noticeable difference from downforce at speed?

How it started ..

Had some help.

Post wash. 359Ms still suck to clean. Also brushed the inside of the MPE tips.

Clayed, coated, conditioned.

Not on the streets, I keep it pretty civil. I do hear it making small adjustments though. I love it.

I ordered a spare plenum on eBay for $150 just in case I messed up, but it is fairly forgiving since you can cut a little more or sand it smooth. Just cut less than you think so you can make adjustments. I plan on keeping the spare plenum for smog checks in California. They probably won't pass a modded plenum lol.

Well, the car was clean and our dinner prep consisted of shucking oysters so I went out for a drive just before sunset. As hoped, the roads were empty and the lighting was forgiving.

I bet they would pass it due to pure ignorance.

Wow is it actual glass? Or some type of polycarbonate plexiglass?

How do you adhere it to the plenum?

Edit: Found a video on Youtube that shows how to do it, and parts list…

Is the same procedure you followed?

Yea, E6000 glue and 1/32 Lexan polycarbonate glass does the trick. You can always use plastic rivets for extra strength.

One guess...

In addition, new tie rods, various fluids, and then upon it's return, new oil separators a new fuel tank breather, and a tune from Alpine.

It's never run better!
