Z06 did well but that 765 is no joke. That’s on a different level. The zr1 should take care of that.

Z06 being the supercar it is, will handle the other supercars like a gt3rs or a 488 around a track.

First off LMAO the ZO6 got trash in every level...

Second why are trying to compare to OLD cars, put it againts the new release GT3rs and lets see or even the 296gtb and lets see.. New car againts new car

What you get in a 150k Z06 is a lot of performance per dollar, even though the MSRP is higher, it's still a strong value proposition car. A 765LT is 500+ in most cases, lol.

Not unlike lining up a Civic Type R with a 992 GT3, purely for clicks.

There are indeed levels to the game. But with all the great cars at 50, 100, 150, 200, etc at least everyone gets a chance to have fun.

Would be more interesting to watch a C8Z and a 600LT.

And what’s the price of that?

The z06 on average spec is around 150k, from a fucking NA engine that weighs a ton.

So the 765 should have demolished it. It’s lighter with more power and active aero. But is it 300k+ faster? Fuck no.

Plus I question mclaren reliability. Great car but the z06 is a better bang for buck.

Like higgs said, I wanna see the z06 vs the 600lt if we have to put it up against another Mac.

With the right tires I’ll take on that bet anyway of the week… I’ll walk the c8 z06 straight line and on the track.. hence I have had the 600lt since new and I have tracked the car so I know what it can do..

Second I get your point in regards to the price and what you get but plz stop comparing apple with oranges I don’t see people with lotus or in your case civic type R comparing like the z06 or better yet the c8 owners like to do all the time… same thing could be said about hyper or SuperCar owners you don’t find them talking down to the Vette owners unless we are provoque by this comparisons

Also what are you talking about Mclaren reliability? Hod this car for 3 years now since new and I beat the living soul out of it without any issues so don’t play that car, it’s the car of all fanboys that hate on Mc the question is what color is or was yours… most of the people bringing the topic of reliability have never had one and the cars breaking down is because they are pushing the car with tune, downpipes, exhaust, E85 etc and when the car breaks they blame it on the brand and not the 800-900 HP that you were asking from the car…

I wouldn't say I am ignoring it, but rather taking it with a grain of salt.

It is a forced induction car going up against a normally aspirated car. The Z06 is just a different breed, it is more of a GT3 competitor. You could sub in a GT3 or GT3 RS in that video and I'd still have the same reaction...who cares. I'd expect a $380k forced induction car to win what is essentially a straight line race.

Z06 is quite impressive, I don't really get how people can still hate on the Corvette. Would I buy one no, not my style...but I certainly respect the hell out of what GM has built. Building the most powerful mass-produced NA V8 ever is no easy task to be honest. The entire package seems to be performing very well.

I'm not the one comparing the cars, haven't made a single video. The comment was in regards to videos comparing cars in completely different classes. So no, I am not baiting anyone, you seem to be confusing me with the creators of these click bait videos.

And don't think I am partial to the Z06 because I have one or be partial to the 600 because you have one, I don't want a 600 but I would love to have a 765, only problem I have is I don't want to give up any of my cars for one and I have no space, which means I would need to build another garage to buy a 500k car and the time is not right for all that with two kids about to start private school. Have to be done buying cars for now.

Chevy doesn't build them because they don't pay the bills if you consider McLaren constantly looking for a buyer, looking for investors, selling their headquarters and renting it back, constantly on the verge of bankruptcy, etc. Chevy is part of GM which is a publicly traded company and they need to make money.

Yes, american car companies suffered 15 years ago in the recession but mclaren has suffered through economic expansion.

They build a mean car, still want a 765, but the business model is obviously not working for them.

You're taking the post WAY to literally. I remember having fun in 5k dollar cars. My first car was $450 and didn't start, my dad made me figure it out myself.

Everyone can have fun, buddy. If you align that with a dollar figure I feel bad for you son.

Could have easily used, 30k or even 15k, there are fun cars at all price points.
