Doesn't Azurite have red and blue flecks in it? Somewhat like Cosmos Black from the E46? Or am I mistaking it with Ruby Black (which has primarily all red flecks).

You may not be able to tell between Azurite and JB in the shade. There is definitely more blue metallic flakes in Azurite. And in the sunlight, wow, the color is gorgeous!

You know how Jerez Black and Jet Black wouldn't look the same under showroom/sun-light? I would say there would be a similar degree of difference with Azurite. The 'tone' is not quite the same either. Jerez definitely has blue but it also has a bit of lilac in its composition, so that mixture gives it a perhaps a little bit more of a blue-violet tone. A special and unique mixture in itself. EDIT: Here is a pic of the sparkles that is well captured:

1400 km - AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1200 miles = 2000 km, so a little less than 400 miles to go!

I'm still pinching myself btw. I still can't believe I'm driving an ///M. It's the best damn car in the world.

Thank you . I guess patience does pay off.
Back in 2008, I was going to buy an E90 M3, jzb w/ fox red-no nav, 18" wheels, and no enhanced sound. That deal was awful. It was one of those Balloon type of payments. Then said to myself, I'll just wait 'til I finish nursing school. After finishing school, and getting a job, a deal breaker comes along that I couldn't pass. |

Well picked her up Tuesday night and wow people we're a staring at her. The silverstone was so much better in person. We went to eat after the delivery with my dad who picked us up from airport and parked at far end of parking lot but still checked on it like 4x. And yesterday did road trip from Nh to Brockville Ontario and wow what a great car. 360 mile trip and got 22.1mpg on the trip of highway and 2lane country roads. Call me crazy but it sounded better as trip went on. Little noisy at start up but from what the forums say its normal. I'm excited and will post pics when I figure out how lol
