Not a M3 owner but does this only happen when your brakes are cold? Usually a slight squeak is pretty normal. |

No this is happening almost every time I come to a stop. It's actually quite embarrassing, because I can only imagine what other people must think when they figure out that the noise that sounds like a school bus stopping is actually my M3. And that's supposed to be normal.

No issues here after 7-months. I had a similar incident in my old e46 M3 though...Turns out I had a freak incident of a very small pebble/rock getting lodged/jammed in there, LOL!

They said they checked them last Thursday when it was there and they all looked good. Man it's annoying though.

I'm not a brake guy at all. I wouldn't know what to look for, I mean if something was seriously messed up I'd see it, but I'd think if something was serious they would have seen it.

here's my new truck that i'll probably bring on saturday. i've always wanted a lifted truck for a toy so i made an impulse buy on saturday while my friend bought an 09 cts-v from the same dealer. the truck drives softer than my m3 . the cts-v is a scary powerful car as well, i'm going to try and get my buddy to come up with it on saturday.

The 09 CTS-V is a sweet ride...we had one at the shop a few weeks back, black on black. Can't fit much wider than stock for wheels though...max 10" with a 285, no room underneath |

the cts needs a widebody kit he's running ps2's stock and i've already got him wanting T1R's of course, he'll be through a set of ps2's in less than 5000 miles the way he drives and how soft those tires are. |
