so they are just gone
would not be able to replace under fcpeuro warranty as you have to return the original part to get a free replacement

I've never really tried looking down there but the "insertion point" or "housing" for these must be loose(?)

The only recommendation I can suggest is to make sure the pads are fully seated. I used a jack ad and jack to make sure it was fully engaged. Either get some rubber pucks to protect the pads or even small blocks of wood that fit inside the pads will help keep them in shape.

Any tips on getting the old/worn ones off? I tried the other week after getting new ones from FCP and they wouldn't budge. I was afraid to apply to much pressure/leverage in case of damaging the brackets holding them on, which it appears is something XkxRome0ox is dealing with.

I was able to get them off with a small pry bar or screw driver. Need to try and push the holding tab as you pull down.

Over the course of the past few days: installed a Dinan catless Middle Racing X-Pipe and the Dinan Free Flow mufflers, bled the brakes with Castrol SRF, and changed the oil.

The Dinan exhaust setup is so right for our cars. I have the full Karbonius intake on my car and the Dinan is a perfect compliment. On WOT (as you can tell in the video below with my phone sitting on the passenger seat), the Karbonius is still louder than the exhaust. Only complaint is, yes, I can smell it if I have my window down and am sitting at a stoplight. Windows up or moving = no smell though. Oh, and the dummy tips. I wish those were real

I can definitely hear your intake over the exhaust. It's a very distinguishable sound. Sounds amazing!

Have a full dinan setup too, only with the Dinan intake. Still the best sounding (exhaust) setup I've heard in person.

New pads and rotors all around. The back were toast, the front still had a little more but figured I would do all four.

I jacked up my front bumper on a garage lip a few weeks ago so I decided to make lemonade and go with the European (no reflector) bumper as a replacement.

Thanks to IND for a great color match on silverstone - perfect as usual!

Busy week for the old girl.

Recall work done late last week (airbag, blower harness, power cable), and while I was at the dealer I picked up an OEM oil bag for the trunk, a pack of 10 oil pan drain plugs/washers, and new front and rear roundels. I need a fresh steering wheel now, because the nice new airbag makes the current one look worse, lol.

Tuesday this week I had the rod bearings replaced. The car feels much smoother with the new engine mounts. Post bearing replacement driving feels great.

Replaced my throttle actuators and fuel breather valve. Was going into limp mode intermittently and was warning of increased emissions.

Just got back from a few days in the Blue Ridge mountains. The wife was playing with our new Gopro on a run up to the top of Brasstown Bald, the highest point in GA. Didn't have a mount yet. Had to keep the revs down to not attract attention from the park rangers, so just a leisurely drive.

New diff, PowerFlex Purple Diff bushings (front/rear), and Turner Solid Subframe mounts.

Took a HPDE class at Sears Point and learned quite a bit from the instructors as well as the capabilities of the E93. If the owner of the white E92 hooning yesterday is on the forum, your car sounds absolutely wicked and I totally oogled over the Eventuri setup.
