Pulled my TAs again. Had one of the replacement MPower rebuilt actuators fail. Like a total failure where it just stopped moving…. After 1 month. Such has been my luck lately.

Swapped banks and problem followed the actuator.

Warranty process was pretty easy, new TA shipped to me next day. MPower even covers the shipping. Just sucks that the car is stuck in my garage for the weekend while I wait for the UPS cart and wagon to deliver my part.

Installed the ebay clutch stop today. I like it for the cost ($15) but it's not really transformative or anything. Just a little less dead pedal travel.

New wheels and tires installed. Although I accidentally dropped a rim on its face while mounting 😔. Anyone know of a place that can repair it in SoCal?

I had/have the same vibration. Replaced my wheels last spring and thought it was solved; took a couple trips and steering wheel was silky smooth on the Highway. Cars been sitting a lot more since WFH and I had to go back to the office this week and wouldn't you know it came right back. Thinking it may be a tire issue, but it being intermittent makes it harder to justify; I would imagine it would be a constant vibration if it were tires.
Issue solved with re balance of tires, my buddy said they were all off between 1oz-1.5oz.

Also got an alignment. Car feel so good.

Today marks a full year I've owned the M3, since buying it sight unseen from this forum and having it delivered.

28,000 miles later and there are no regrets.

514hp and 399 ft-lbs at the wheels. Velly nice indeed.. A stroker and a blower.. What a combo.. Sledgehammer. The paradox maybe needing more brakes.. and bigger rear meats.

How do you like it?

I was a little underwhelmed at first but each drive it grows on me.

Oh good. I am looking for underwhelmed! I want it stock level of quiet just a little more bass. More than anything I wanted to get rid of the stock exhaust "diaper" look with the little chrome tips. The carbon tips of the Akra will look sick AF on my setup. And losing a little weight isnt bad! It's not installed yet. Just need the mounting pieces to arrive.

I had the full akra evo system on another e92M3 and it was too loud for the current 50-year old me.

Report back when it's on! The CF tips are without a doubt killer. I too despise the OEM sagging muffler and the akra is virtually invisible now. Love it, definitely the best looking exhaust IMO

I think you will love the slip on then! Volume is great for the civilized gentleman.

We have very similar stories I acquired mine in May, and I look forward to a similar post later next year.

Hit a goddamn squirrel that was trying to cross the road. Couldn't avoid it. Poor dude.

I looked back and he was no where to be found.

Halfway took my lip off.
