I would say something in mid-$50s would be pretty good too. $60k is insane for a car that people were buying below MSRP...some were buying at invoice + $500 when they were new. |

if you really like the car then I suppose high $50ks would be okay to pay. Just personally I would only buy in mid-50s for a car like that. Great car, just can't fathom paying $60k for it today. |

I paid $1800 from Miami to Seattle single load & covered transport. It was 1200.00 or so for just an open multi carry transport.

Based on my area it was the cheapest 2011 with lowest milage. Sure there were others with 40K+ miles but for not much less and a few 2011 with 3-4k more miles but in the 50s. And a couple 2013s for low 60s as well with low milage. Pre LCI ones go for a lot less though.

New to me stripper (or "driver's spec" when speaking with the wife)
Purchased: December of 2014 Model: E92 Year: 2011 Miles: 20k Color: Space Grey, Black Interior Transmission: 6 speed manual Options: ZCP, 1 hump/no nav, speed cloth, ipod/USB adapter, heated front seats, park distance control, hi-fi sound system and M Performance exhaust Price: $45,000 with CPO (to mid 2017) Car was more or less an ideal spec for me - I wanted cloth and no nav - although I secretly covet the 4 door as the ultimate in sleeper cool (but hard to find). Had planned to pay cash but BMW was offering .9% for 48 months and a $500 credit, plus a couple of hundred for the dealer to help get things done, so I took the financing package. Will be a summer car - weekends and nice days - and settled on the E92 M3 after a very broad search. It met my requirements of rwd, 4 seats and a manual with some important nice to haves (limited slip and natural aspiration) at a reasonable price point but with the compromise of being a little bigger and heavier that I'd ideally like. I drove a few while shopping and this particular car felt strong and sounded great with the exhaust. Last edited by FJJB; 12-22-2014 at 10:24 AM.. Reason: random smilie |

Buying a used car is always a huge compromise based on options, price, mileage, location, etc. You usually end up making 1 or 2 concessions. When I bought my pre-owned, I got 100% what I wanted, and the price was exactly what I wanted, but my concession was location... |

Year: 2009 Model: E92 Miles: 39,650 Color: Le Mans Blue/Extended Black Leather Transmission: 6spd Options: Tech, Premium, Cold Weather, Enhanced Premium Sound, 220m wheels, Rear parking sensors, iPod and Smartphone integration Mods: Black grille, color coded side markers, ACM modified stock exhaust MSRP: $71,275 Price: $33,500 + $850 shipping Spent about a month and a half looking at the car and haggling with the seller, he originally wanted $37k. Got the exact year (wanted the nicer iDrive), color, options, and mileage I wanted for what seems to be an awesome price. Couldn't be happier! Now just need to wait for spring so I can actually drive it! Last edited by Iyzmi; 01-20-2015 at 06:57 PM.. |
