My current car and my previous E36 M3 vert were both low mileage, 9.5 condition garage queens and while I still drove them the miles were far fewer and farther between. I still flog my garage queens, lol, but they get a nice bath and under the car cover they go afterwards!

M4 brake system for e92
They should be installed from factory. It's a must. OEM e92 M3 front pads are good for less than one full day pushing with 1 pot calipers. Now I do more than twice.

The original plan was to not drive it and sell it in a few years, but it was so much fun I couldn't keep my hands off of it, so much so that it just turned 70,000 miles yesterday. I'll even take it to go visit my mom (699 miles each way) and it's just a blast through the mountains of Northern California and Southern Oregon. I bought the car with a G-Power blower already installed, and then added solid rear subframe bushings, Hotchkis sway bars and a BBK to go with the stock EDC dampers and springs. The ride quality is still good and the blower makes maneuvering around traffic almost on par with a motorcycle, if not for the width. They are great cars and do so many things well. The friend I bought my M3 from replaced it with a next gen M4. He said he felt the e92 was a better car. …and you can make random anonymous friends out on the highway, to keep the boredom away, on those 10 hour trips. (Pictures are of my new MPG PR (last 8 months including 3 track days) and my wingman thru a good chunk of Oregon)

Always loved anything with an engine but never thought it was a good idea for me to buy something that I had to baby or take care of. My friends were the opposite so I lived vicariously through them for a while but I watched and waited for them to wash their cars, dump money into them, fight with their spouses about the car and park a mile away from the restaurant to avoid door dings. At some point I had enough so I bought my M3 a while ago. I take care of better than any vehicle I've owned but I drive it too. I know there are better driving cars, faster, tighter or whatever but this is the best of all of that that I ever owned and at this point I don't think I could be any more happy with it. My only problem is not that I know what it's like to drive a car like this, I also know that there are better options and even though I'm not ready to move on, I know that I can never downgrade. Luckily for me car prices are ridiculous right now so even if I wanted to upgrade I couldn't justify it at this point. |

What is the mildest front lip that I can buy? I mean how low it sits or how much it protrudes
I don't want to worry too much about scraping or cracking the lip

Replaced the blower motor, I was getting a ton of moldy-stink on AC startup and I had cleaned the Evap (two or three times with Lysol/Klima), used an endoscope to check for leaks or drain blockages, and steam cleaned the old blower motor. The old blower seemed pretty gross so I just got a $40 aftermarket replacement and it seems like it helped quite a bit.
It's a super humid day here, so we'll see how it goes, hopefully I can move past the wet dog stink that makes my wife annoyed everytime she gets in the car.

Clean the Evap, then install the new blower. You can also just take your current blower out and give it a sniff, mine was pretty stinky and I think the lysol treatments made it worse because moisture collected inside the blower motor cavity.

I was with my e93 M3 this morning in her natural habitat - the gas station.
Prius driver to me: "Boy, I bet that's fun to drive!?" Me, casually shrugging: "Only if you like a convertible with almost 600 horsepower and a supercharged V8 that revs to 8400..." Prius Driver: slowly nods in deep contemplation, quietly drives away |

If it's hot out, like it was yesterday, and I'm driving 85-90 (with the occasional 100 blast), thru the mountains, that's what the gauge will look like. If I'm at the track on a hot day, it will get a needle width past the the 255 mark.

Bought a proper dual direction torque wrench for my upcoming VANOS gears R&R. Also used the last of my Leatherique on back seats and dash. It's surprisingly very good at getting rid of that Armor All look I had going on with the dash. Trying to get it to match my steering wheel's matte.
