With the underrated numbers of m5 comp/cs well north of 650bhp, well yea.

Still no explanation from the EV lover it seems.

Feel free to answer the original question or just move on.

I was talking about official OEM specifications. Neither "mild tunes" nor owners' dyno tests have anything to do with that.

Try to understand what the conversation was about. Then we'll see if I owe you anything (spoiler: I don't).

When I said mild tunes I didn’t mean aftermarket tune, I meant factory one just as the examples I gave. Base vs comp etc.

Please learn to read, and stay on topic with answering my original question which 5 posts later you still can’t do. Feel free to move on.

Finally, someone who understands how to stay on topic and give a legit answer to a simple question.

Thank you.

I can more than read. I can also count.

Show 10%, not 10hp.

No you can’t, answer my original question rather than just asking another one or quote someone else.

Oh, and I already unnecessarily did.

10hp is 1.33% of 600hp. Check my math, let me know if it's wrong.

Still going to continue with no direct answer. The car doesn’t have 600hp for the 10th time it’s 591hp. 600 is in PS. I thought you said you can read? Clearly not.

Even worse, the f10 m5 also used the s63tu engine and had only 552hp.

Still waiting for my answer though, let me know when you have one, or feel free to move on.

Going from 591hp to 627hp of the CS adds 36hp, or 6.1%. I hope you can understand that 6.1% is less than 10%.

S63B44T0. While F90 uses S63B44T4 - a very different engine.

After taking another look at your list on the front page does your info mean that the current 4 series ICE models including the M4 will be discontinued after this generation?

I don't believe so, however, there's no good information about the successor yet.

Don't all versions of the G8X come with the S58B30T0? They range from 453hp in the M2, up through 550hp in the 3.0 CSL. Or 543 for the M3 CS, if we put the 3.0 off limits since it's not really a production car. 453-->543 is a 20% increase with just a factory tune.

Officially, G80 and G82 manuals and 3.0 CSL use S58B30O0. So what we have with S58 is this:

S58T is designed to produce in the neighborhood of 500hp. Used in M2, it is intentionally detuned to 453hp. And this sequence of events is the key difference from the dumb argument above: the more powerful original version is released first, and then it gets a less powerful version. So yeah, it's a 10% change but in the totally wrong direction.

S58O, on the other hand, does indeed end up with a large jump (473hp->553hp), however, the 3.0 CSL is a unique hand-built car, and even if the engines are not hand-built (I wasn't following the PR too closely, not sure if this was discussed), BMW has certainly gone through a selection process for those 50 engines that is not, and can't reasonably be done for the regular manufacturing line production.

- G45/G97 X3, iX3, X3M, Spartanburg, 8/24-10/33.
...
- NA5 iX3, Hungary and SLP, 8/25-10/33 (again, SLP starts with a delay of over a year).
Will there be both a G45 iX3 and a NA5 iX3 simultaneously?
That will be confusing...

Or maybe there will be no G45 iX3 and just the NA5 one?
In that case, there will be two different X3 platforms, one NA5 (Neue Klasse?) and on G-series?

I'm confused.

Definitely two different platforms in the same segment. This source is possibly wrong about G45 iX3. I should understand this better soon.

Is the F66 still UKL based vehicle? Not offering manual is not in line with their manual driving school campaign.
