Fresh new plastic trim from FCP euro. Need to do cup holder trim next, just ran out of time.
A piece of old trim included as reference to previous state of plastic. |

Here you go. Be careful the pieces over the HVAC and CIC/CCC can be different depending on car options, like if you have that lower strip of buttons for sun shades or whatever. Check part number in below links. Best to start over with your model year just in case, and make sure you select the correct COLOR trim. https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=64_1443 https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=51_5719 https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=51_9185

installed the SLP offset CABs and attempted to solve the BM PS reservoir issue Ive had, but something bigger is going on. Not sure if its Servotronics FRM or PS pump at this point. Any ideas would be greatly helpful.

Finally, I got my new Wisconsin vehicle plates. One good thing about this pandemic was no waking up early to wait in line or to show up in person. All I had to do was send in the signed title, fill out the new Wisconsin title and registration forms as well as for the special/custom plate forms. Then obviously the payment.
My parents still living in Wisconsin, sent my plates out to SoCal where I'm at. Now I don't have to pay the expensive yearly registration and no bi-yearly smog. |

Installed and tested new armoured coolant hoses
We have all seen videos of these bad crashes on Nürburgring Nordschleife due to coolant spray on the track. That's why I changed old coolant hoses to high quality racing (five layers of Swedish armory!) do88 coolant hoses. My M3 E92 is from 2010 so it was a time. First test on track: success!

So last week the differential grenaded at 147k. Getting ready to order a diff from bimmerworld, left rear axle, and a driveshaft. Looking for an Mfactory carbon driveshaft as it retains the guibo and should keep NVH down, but damn it's a long wait for one and not sure I want the M3 down for the entire summer. Decisions decisions…

would not surprise me at all here in CA, also, if you have a CA drivers license and you get stopped they will nail you for living here and not registering the car here within 30 days.

Finally traded out my plate. KY's process is garbage and took about 3 months longer than OH's did.
Have to apply online and get a response back that the plate has been approved. This took 4 months. Then you have to go to the clerks office and hand them a printed copy of your approval email, pay an order fee and only then do they order the plate. You also have to pay the fee to have a regular plate while you wait on your custom plate to arrive. This took 6 weeks. They send you an email stating that the plate has arrived. You have to go to the clerks office again, hand them a copy of the arrival email, and pay another fee to take your new plate. Ohio took maybe 6 weeks total and was all done via the Internet. |

finally got around to coating my own set of valve covers to match my BBK kit I did last year sometime. I think they came out quite good but a lot of extra time was put into them to get them as smooth as they came out. Cant wait to get them installed to see how they look inside the engine bay.
![]() ![]() I do have a set of Crinkle Red Covers I just finished at the same time up for sale. HMU if interested. |
