oil change complete !!

Did an oil change yesterday . Everything went smooth , no issues.
Added about 1/4 liter to the oil filter canaster first . I used a total of about 8.8 liters , drove it around for about 10 minites to get an oil level reading which read half way between min and max. I'm good to go . Thanks to everyone on this forum who offered advice !!

2013 BMW M3  [0.00]
A bunch of mods and maintenance yesterday:
  • Castrol SRF brake fluid flush.
  • PFC 11 Brake pad installed for first event this Tuesday.
  • Michelin PSS tires are back on (finally!)
  • Rennline Tow hook with GoPro adapter (doesn't fit!)
  • Schroth Quick Fit Pro

Everything went well, apart from the Rennline tow hook that definitely doesn't fit (way too short). Figuring out when new fluid is flowing with the SRF is a bit tricky, old fluid (also SRF) wasn't dark at all.

Thanx Helmsman!

No they went into storage for nxt winter, I really don't give a darn thing how winter wheel's look like. If a nice winter wheel set pop's up and I'm in the right mood, I might get it, if not as stated before.

Put my spoiler on. Getting the OEM adhesive off was a way too long process

finally took the car out of the garage for an inspection sticker. Forgot how great that V8 is revving to 8 grand. Came back and wipe her down and back in the garage.

Took it to HUGE car show event yesterday. Epic drive there and back. First time I got to do some serious driving after winter storage. It did not disappoint. Going on 4 years of ownership and I still totally love this car.

Pulled out my black dash and center console and installed extended leather pieces in fox red.

Swapped to fox red interior about a month ago, but just added the fox red center console this past weekend to give a semi-extended look

Bought my 2011 E90 M3 last week.
Installed the M3 license plate frame. Don't want the dealer frame, no free ads!
Installed the Skene and Calvert license plate frame bracket up front. Has a minimalist look.

Thanks, man! When i did it a couple of weeks ago, i'm pretty sure it was the first time it had been done since the car was new and the thing was pretty dirty. Now that it's been a couple of weeks, I can see there are a couple spots that I missed, so I plan to do it over again in a week or two after I install new cabin filters. I'm going to use a little less engine dressing so the finish looks clean, but not glossy. Perhaps I'll post another pic if the results are better.

You got balls spraying water on your engine! Its something I refuse to do

Though I know if done correctly - no ill effects - but still. Am hesitant to do myself.

Looks great!

I got the info on sponsor pricing, but still waiting to hear back if it is ok to get a feel for demand at a given price without a sponsorship as long as I don't actually sell without a sponsorship. I'm getting pricing from a couple of different shops to see if it can be done a little cheaper in quantities.
