Looks nice, but I'd not be in a hurry to track it just yet. Let someone else beta test it for you. Plus, no aftermarket parts are likely to be available (does it come with a standard sized brake pad?).
Nice, love spotting test cars! And good points re not wanting to be an early adopter and waiting until the aftermarket parts bin has been established. No rush here, but it looks nice and has some good specs, something to watch at least, 7:39 Nurburgring time also.

Standard brakes look to be Brembos, 360mm 4-piston front, 350mm 4-piston rear.

In Chris Harris I trust, thanks for sharing. Too bad he wasn't into the manual transmission, planning to switch back on my next car. He also mentioned a lack of torque down low (less fun on the street). F80/82 may be the logical next step then, that or Harrop the e92!

FYI If you're looking to break off lug nuts, etc. This wont do it. only 350 INCH/lb aka ~29 ft/lb. But looks compact enough to do many other things.

I have the Ryobi Impact Wrench which is 200 ft/lb and it barely takes off lug nuts.

Really like my Craftsman C3 Heavy Duty Impact Wrench with XCP battery. Rated up to 300 ft/lbs.

This is one I use:
http://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee...rl__W477186052

Breaks off lugs with ease. Was on sale for about $200. Negatives: not compact, nor is it light.

I have this monster, it works really well. I don't even have to swap batteries until probably 5-6 track days.

if you don't want to fork out tons of cash just get a ryobi impact at home depot for $100 - comes with two batteries. you just have to break with a breaker bar. tightens enough so that when you use your torque wrench to get to 88lb ifs a quarter turn at most. Perfect for me. Break both wheels on one side, jack then turn em loose.

Bruh, it's on sale now

I think I got it for less, so yeah, I've seen it discounted more severely than that.

Worst tools I've ever seen. I'll buy a used name brand off craigslist before I buy another new Ryobi anything.

I have had this for over a decade now:

https://www.pepboys.com/product/details/9343447/00071

Lasts an entire weekend without issues (on two race cars) and when clicked, almost 90lbs ish on the torque wrench.

on a different note... im trying to find a light and inexpensive exhaust that will match with test pipes that won't be above 92db when 50 feet from the back of the car. Am I dreaming?

I think I had a ryobi weed whacker for about a week once.

Yeah me neither but so far it's worked. A little more extra work but serves its purpose.
