Took it for a proper thrashing in the Sierra foothills yesterday with my pal Trevor, to get some miles on it, so today was for the post rod bearing oil change and to install the do88 oil cooler.
11-1/2 liters to top it off!
Thanks again for sharing the plug on the cooler. Mine came in today!
You bet.
Hopefully it fits with the IC.
Hoping you are more Bruce Banner than Hulk for the install.

Who did you end up ordering from?

Your guy "Leddy" motorsports. Sh!t came fast. Ordered Sunday or Monday and was at my door today. I will report back if it will fit with the IC. I hope so.

[QUOTE=Denny347;27299105]I woke mine up from hibernation. It has spent the last 6-7 weeks on a battery tender under a cover. Funny thing is that I had the RB replaced right before I put it away. It is unseasonably warm so time to have fun in it. My friend's daily driver M3 needs washed...haha

You got a close-up of the grill emblem. I see the tricolors but I can't make it out

Looks like a great route! How were the roads in the Sierras? Clear and smooth? Or pretty rough?

If we aren't going to get any snow I need to go hoon around in the hills some weekend.

I think they had had some weather up there a few days earlier, and it appeared they had put down some sand on one of the grades, so in that short section I just backed off, but it was really just dusty and I just didn't want eat GT3 roost in that section.

The pavement was in great shape though, and the short grade is likely clean by now.
If you can swing a weekday, you'll probably be rewarded with light traffic.

These lockdowns have me forgetting, sometimes, the actual implications of swamping brands like @slon_workshop with 100 + orders in a few weeks.

Seeing these pictures this morning reminded me how powerful the social buying community of ************** can be.

Thanks to all of you for jumping on board and helping build this up. Together, we can kill the M tax forever.

We're starting to get noticed, and we're only getting started. They ain't seen nothing yet!

sound is slightly louder in the cabin but nothing crazy. also running stock intake so that probably contributes to minimal noise.

but for 50-60 dollars why not haha

How long did the rotor last before needing a change!

It was a nice day so I broke out the Quick Jack and changed the manual transmission fluid and the rear differential fluid. The car has EXACTLY 65k miles on it today so it needed both changed. The trans fluid was dark when I drained it. I have no paperwork saying it was changed at 30k mi as recommended. Same with the rear differential. Glad to get it done.

+1. I just received mine today and will get it put on next week. I'm going to tape it on early next week to get a rough idea.
