Took the M3 on a weekend trip to Disney World. It's much better for me than my wife's Tiguan, especially now my bumper is starting to delaminate(no worries about road rash). Euro bumper, paint correction, and respray coming up!

Had my old school Road Hawk HD fail on me. Went entry level, I'm happy.

Helped a friend change the starter in his 09 E92 M3.... What a PITA with all the plastic brittle parts and the 3 blind bolts that hold on the starter!
It took us about 5 hours (We did stop and eat). I went and ordered one for mine since it coming up on 10 years and will be doing this again this week.
This time it should go faster since I know what to look for. A 3 inch t30 and a deep E14 is the golden ticket!

I have F800 Pro front and rear and I love that thing. I put one in all my cars! Solid cameras.

You are a brave man. I could not imagine driving a lowered m3 with 19's in NY.

Yep, when I did my TAs, I got pretty creative with the harnesses. I have an '08.

Those three bolts broke me. I took the day off from work to replace my starter...in the rain, and those bolts did not help at all. Took me me an hour of kneeling on the front of the car hunched over with my T14 extension. Why I'm the hell did they put those facing forwards?! But yeah, next time shouldn't be too bad. The ICV tubing was kinda of a pain to put back in too.

Bringing up bad memories, haha.

The recent weather drove home the need to replace my worn Michelin A/S3+ ("ultra high performance all-weather") tires, which I like.

I wanted a full set of the updated Michelin Pilot Sport A/S4s, but according to Michelin customer service they're not and will never will be available in my rear size (285/30ZR19) — nor in another rear size I'd be open to putting on the car (e.g. 295/30ZR19).

A comparable Conti DWS06+ is available in both my current sizes (front 255/35ZR19). But that tire is so new that it has virtually zero objective reviews. I was unwilling to commit to a full set since the DWS line is notoriously sub-par in the dry.

Frustrating.

I ended up replacing my rears only with identical tires, Michelin AS/3+. The fronts "should" last the life of the rears, at which point I'll see what's available. All that said, the car now feels more secure in the hazardous conditions we've seen lately.

My teen son asked for my old e36. "Sure thing, you just gotta replace the starter" (he had never lifted a wrench before). Weeks of sweat and youtube and he did it (also new cooling, etc while he was in there).

That's awesome. Definitely the best way to get them started, and addicted for life.

Blame it on Coronavirus that allow me more time with working at home and multitasking and shopping online....finally decided to do some interior refresh and purchase the AutoTecknic CF Trim Kit. Cant wait to swap them out in the next 3 weeks or so when they arrive.

This might be making a comeback - very soon.

Arguably the most well engineered valve exhaust system ever made for the E9X M3.

Gained power with valves closed with OEM like sound, and madness when opened - the ultimate all-in-one exhaust.

The jigs were found at Supersprint and I'm chatting with Imran to do a limited production run.

It will be now or never.

It retailed at 3,600$ back in 2011. We'll be getting it for much less, if enough of us want it.

Hear it:
Wow that sounds exotic 👀

Now that's funny, especially if it's anything like this one. I could not think of doing this if I had no wrench skills. The funny thing is I put my foot in my mouth by telling him I would help (My whole body hurts from all the bending and stretching I did) but I ordered mine and told him he must help. You need a buddy just for the 3 bolts in the back to take a break after you get frustrated. I have done a lot to this car myself including SC, BBK, alternator, TA, wrapped it, exhaust but this was the one that had me swearing the most!

Totally agree, I get frustrated just changing spark plugs especially the two that are up against the cowl. It is a pain when we are in our late 40's hunching over and stretching to get the damn plugs out!!! painful indeed

Random warm day melted all the snow from my driveway so I took her out on the back roads for the first time in over 2 months. Enjoyed a couple WOT pulls to remind myself just how bloody fast this thing is. The supercharger loves the 45 degree IATs and it definitely slaps harder after a good tolerance break :
