Im here in CA, they looked under the car from front back side to side, and spent a good amount of time under the hood looking for anything out of place.

CA is tough! So are some other states and so are some inspectors in less tough states.

Strange! I'd try a different place next time, at least here in San Diego all the smog places take a peak under the hood and then hook up their system. I've never had someone look underneath the car

Wow so we have emissions here in CT with a visual check and you just slap your cats on and no one ever knows.

On the ARH system there are elbows that you can disconnect the cats and put on for off-road work and then slap the cats back on for street use. With flashing proper tunes of course.

If the state goes by "any modifications" then you're boned

Got these for ~$1k on ebay.
ebay link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/232627578439

Currently I have test pipes (stock secondaries still in place), ms intake, bpm stage 2 tune, cnt exhaust.
I'll be installing these myself on my lift.
I'll document the process.

Notes on the install are on my blog, there were major issues with the length pbonsalb & SAMM3Y called it, the end of the end pipes were too long on one side and required cutting, pictures in part 2 link below:

Update #3 Before Dyno & Video posted, see post #61 https://www.m3post.com/forums/showpo...8&postcount=61

Update #4 After Dyno & Video posted, see post #73 https://www.m3post.com/forums/showpo...3&postcount=73

Update #2 Headers have arrived.
Quality seems pretty good, header flanges look good against a straight edge no warpage. The parts of the mid section that is 3" do seem pretty big in person.

Final Update:
Conclusion, Becker Performance Headers & xpipe made +15whp / +8wtq over test pipes. Dynos where done within a week of eachother, using the same tank of 93. Conditions were 93F & 96F. ~40% Humidity

I read the complete thread!
So this is plug and play or need modifications
And samethink else from where is this Becker exhaust from ?

I think the person who installed the headers and midpipe said the midpipe did not plug and play to his rear exhaust and that cutting and welding was needed. Maybe if Becker sells a complete kit with rear exhaust it will all fit. Don’t know. No one has reported on that yet.

Also, the +15 rwhp was over test pipes in a stock midpipe. It is possible the gains over an aftermarket fully catless midpipe might be only 5 rwhp. We don’t know.

Part 2 link to my blog answers questions about install with pics to show modifications I had to make. Also note the part about rear o2 sensors not reaching.

Is anyone running Megan axle back with the Becker mid & headers? I would love to hear some clips and comments on drone and sound.

So totally catless, but not too loud at all -> i.e. still sane. Congrats. Great combo, and great sound at the 3:10s mark.
