Nice! Glad you go it solved.

Thanks for the update Sunny, and great to hear it back in shape!

Picked my car up from the dealer this morning after a week while I've been traveling. They have checked the various acc/angels sensors, turned out they couldn't measure the output voltage (i.e. on the struts top), driving with several different guys to conclude that the EDC does work. While it still doesn't...

I have a used module as a final fall back test. Seems to get some contradictory info here; Did you have to re code your module to match VIN and make it work Sunny?

Also for my understanding; your original module generated a fault code. The second module didn't but still didn't work (prior re coding)? I'm trying to confirm that the system didn't work, while it didn't generate a code.

Cheers

My original module died, producing an error code. Got a new module installed and coded (without VIN info), and the error was gone, but it was stiff all the time. Had a buddy recode the new module, and added the VIN info, and now it is working.

Hi,just found this thread about EDC failiure, and I was wondering have you all got these working again? And how did you solve these issues, because I´m thinking of just to buy a used one and try to swap and see if this solves my problem. I have a "electric damper failiure" pop up on the dash when I start the car.

Could someone summarize how both the EDC and the servotronic was fixed in this thread? I read it but was hard to follow.

I’m having the same issue where I’m convinced servotronic is stuck in Sport mode but can’t quite figure it out nor can the dealership. I don’t have EDC so I can’t speak to whether there’d be a common fault between the two in my case; I’m only looking at servotronic.
