lolz these pads are unreal...no fade...whatsoever. i am not good enough in my eyes to warrant getting suspension + slicks. i only have 6 events of track experience. pretty funny though, the car dives forward like mad these pads are so torquey. i love them because there is very little pedal travel and it makes toe-toe very easy for me. although i have little experience, i am quite hard on brakes and melted my stocks. on ICAR (1st vid) I run stock Mintex pads because I don't have time to change to the cobalts and they fade withing 5-10 minutes...it's actually not fun sometimes.
so next mod next summer is camber plates because this car understeers like a pig and is heavy as shit, even on an essentially square setup. love it though. Last edited by GewoW; 09-09-2011 at 06:58 AM.. |

Oregon Raceway Park-
Best 2:08.92 Tires: MPSC Pads: Pagid Yellow DCT Otherwise stock In the advanced run group Mark with an E92, R1's, XR2 pads and KW Club Sport was in the 2:03's. As a final comparison a 2010 GT3 with a semipro driver (he was driving a client's car so taking it easy), did a 1:58.

somebody timed me yesterday and said I managed a 2:39, which I was pretty happy about considering I am running PS2s and I wasn't even going for a hot lap (the extra 175 hp from the blower certainly didn't hurt). I think with R comps, if I tried for a fast lap, I could manage a 2:35. |

Nice good job guys at RA. Wish we could have made it up. It would be fun next year if we can find a way to organize an event where we all can make it for the weekend.
