Exactly the new version of Carbon Black!
I'm kinda amused to find how many people love the new Fox Red Interior with Jerez (the new CB)...Why, because as you see in my sig., I have a CB/ Imola Red E46 M3 Vert & when I ordered it back in '04, everyone ordered their CB with Cinnomon & hated the Imola Red. I absolutely love the Imola Red in the Carbon Black Ext. & same for Jerez with Fox Red

Nice pics above. Here are a few more showing off the purple hue of the Jerez Black.
Source: http://www.mtorque.co.uk/ubbthreads/...&Number=555835 There are more pictures on the source page, but they are nothing new. I felt the 2 above helped show how versatile this color is. |

Do you want to be noticed or not?
I have JB, but have also seen it in red and white. Both colours look good but JB is more discrete than white - which is one of the reasons I went for JB.

Great pics Dazzler.
I think the black interior with CF trim looks very professional, not boring at all. That is the spec I have gone for inside. |

I'm a little suprised by just how much purple is in the color. I ended up going with Jet Black. I still like Jerez, but the hue seems like something you need to see in person before you order it. So i went with Jet. Is it as blue/purple as the pictures above show?

From so many angles, in that colour, it really doesn't look like an M3 should. A JB went past me the other day and were it not for the side vents, you'd be none-the-wiser.

Here are two pictures of Jerez Black, taken with and without flash.
I was not done washing it in the first picture so there is some residue on the paint.

@Dazzler et al - . Damn! I was thinking I had to change from my current black Bimmer - but JB's blue tint is phuckin' awesome!!
but also = lots more $$ on cleaning.

This may mean very little to some of you but I did a search on Autotrader.co.uk and Jerez Black is the most popular colour on sale and as such must been the most popular colour purchased in the UK. Followed by SSII, Space Gray and then Red, white and Sparkling Graphite less so.
Bottom of the list was Blue. |

From what I gather from the pics, JB looks very similiar to BMW's Orient Blue -a very dark rich-looking blue. Anyone familiar with both Orient and JB? Your comments/observations would be appreciated.
