Good explanation. Do you fully also disassemble the engines after the 40k miles of driving to see if there has been any unusual wear or any other issues due to supercharging?

We have our first 5 kits being installed in the next 2-4 weeks. Our first official production run will be shortly after that. |

Hi
Just wondering, 1. how does the supercharger affect fuel consumptions? also I'm interested to add a supercharger since ill be fully paying an M3 this summer. 2. How does the supercharger compare to the G-Power one. Just want an idea on why the EES is better. I like the horse power number but the torque is a little low or am I mistaken? I know this is not a turbo so I kept that in mind. But my old '07 335i was 3.0 twin turbo with 300 lb*ft tq so I thought this V8 would be higher. Also looking at the AMG 6.299 litre V8 NA engine pushes 500hp and 468 lb*ft tq. I thought this would bring the M3 to the 400's torque area. 3. How are the numbers from 0-60 MPH? BTW excellent work with that Supercharger looks promising and hopefully no blown engines. Thanks

Thanks for the prompt reply Rom3n.
1. 16 MPG? thats really good numbers so the fuel consumption improved dramatically basically (from 21 to 16 MPG? thats 24% improvement correct? thats great). 2. And Haha very nicely said leave it to customers to put up the reviews. Also what about wear and tear on the engine. If I was to get the 600hp kit since I don't want to over-do it. 3. How would the engine do (how much damage does the Sc do on the engine in other words) compared to leaving it stock? 3. And how much for the 600 HP kit shipped to Canada. 4. There are body shops in Canada that can install that hit, right? Thanks in advance

Hey Roman, the more I talk to these other companies, the more convinced I am to go with you guys. How are the DCT trannies holding up to supercharging? This is my only real concern, because I'm likely going to have a pretty mellow tune on my car.

The DCT is rated to handle about 440-450 ft/lb tq. We only produce about 380-390 ft/lb of tq on our 700HP kit so we never really push the limits of what it is rated to handle on the 600 and 650 HP kits. We have DCT software that gets flashed into cars with DCT to make sure the correct changes are are made for the added torque and power. We are also working on an optional upgraded software version that will reduce lag and allow us to set custom shift points. One of our test cars in Norway is a DCT car and it get abused pretty good on a daily basis. My personal car has DCT, I have been pushing it hard for the past 4 months trying to get an error or failure with it but so far it has performed flawlessly. |

The DCT box is rated to 450 - that applies to flywheel torque. Your dyno graph is of Rear wheel torque. That would approximately mean you've got 440+ flywheel torque which is basically on the limit with the 700hp kit. What's the torque on the 600 and 650 kits? |

We ran our entry level low boost five hundred and something HP stage 1 R&D kit last night at Evolution Motorsports dyno event for fun. We removed the cooling system on this kit and the custom CAI to see how stage 2 would perform if the cooling system failed and the car was exposed to high intake temps. We have been testing this setup for the past few months in 90+ deg temps and it has performed perfectly. The baseline is the same car stock, both runs done on our local 91 octane.
We have our first two stage 2 650 HP kits being installed next week and several stage 2 600 HP kits over the next few weeks. More dyno runs, vids and pics coming soon |
