The true credit goes to TXM32B for starting this group buy.
Also, this event wouldn't be possible with each and every one of us.....But we still need to keep our fingers crossed and make sure this happens for real.

At the end, my final motive is to help in even the slightest of ways. Man, I just wanna see this happen.

But, a quick question for Mike - the price was for a custom tune, so I'm curious what the off-the-shelf tune price would be if I showed up and just got a quick flash.
Mike said that he could try to locate an AWD dyno for you. Don't give up my friend.

Call Mike directly so that he can help you.

Have a friend who has a C63 AMG. Would the price be consistent for his as well? No exhaust or anything on it.

the head: No reason to have a custom tune on that car. The gains are huge and are already dyno proven.

Same thing with the C63 amg. It picks up between 50 and 60 wheel horse with just a tune.

DaFool: The price on the C63 is $1990. I can give your friend a couple hundred bucks off. We've tuned three or four in the last few days with great results!

There are several AWD dynos in Houston. But I doubt I could rent it for a custom tune at the rate Vivid is giving due to multiple cars. That allure was to get a custom tune, but the off-the-shelf is still cheaper than all but the Upsolute tune for my vehicle. I'm still sitting on the idea.

I'm very positive that Mike & the gang @ Powerchip will figure a solution, so that the end result will please you to the fullest.

I'll let Mike chime in so that he may better assist you my friend....

the head: I tried calling around in the Houston area for an AWD dyno, but I couln't locate one. Maybe I'm just having a tough time since I'm not very familiar with the Houston area...

Mike: I called again & spoke with Todd@Vivid Racing and I gave him your direct contact #. He should be calling you soon hopefully.

Also, Todd said that we could hold a 3 day event, but Sunday wouldn't be possible. His reason was that the noise level could catch the cops attention, and they could get in trouble that day. I asked if we could possibly hold the Dyno days on Thursday, Friday, Saturday.....And he said yes. Yet I understand that we'll have to see what will work out best for everyone.

Either way, I asked Todd to get in touch with you Mike.

Thank you.

SGP has a Dyno Pack, but I wouldn't go there. Engine Logics has a Dyno Dynamics (I've used that one in my Subaru days). Turbochargers.com has one (well, the shop next door to them does and they use it). Those are the ones I know off the top of my head. But like I say, I can just get the flash without dyno tuning. And being the tightwad that I am, is there a discount for that?

Have you called them to see what kind of exact pricing they'll do for you just in case...

And I'm sure Mike can work you a deal that would be an advantage for just the software tune. Give him a call if you can, so that he may be able to get you sorted out.

Thank you sir.

I wasn't. There are still horror stories going around about vehicles being tied down via anti-sway bars and things of that nature.

So when do you think the BIG DAY(s) is gonna be Mike?

Later in October, or early in November will be just fine for me. How does everyone else feel?

I know Mike's been swamped, and I personally haven't had time to sleep, much less worry about this, so I haven't been pushing it at all myself.
