BizzleShniz No Luck with your PM Box! Still same issue, I receive your messages but cant respond. Before you buying anything make sure your CIC version is C1A which is the latest version.
If it is not you will need to update it. It requires ICOM cable. And a 30amp battery charger.
If you have this 2 i can also update the CIC remotely if you have windows laptop with wifi. I do remote coding all the time not an issue for the OEM camera!

I am updated to C1A. I also just finished combox for TCU/MULF. I have some familiarity with coding at this point as well as VO changes. As far as the camera goes I am a little concerned with swapping out my JBE and subsequent coding. I don't have ICOM or a battery charger either. I don't know if that is required or not. I got the Master version to replace my H1 version.

You dont need ICOm for JBE. You need ICOM for CIC update.

FYI - though the TRSVC70 works 'out of the box' so to speak, default coding it won't accomplish anything as it was never intended for this platform. If you do want to code it for greater precision (and this is entirely optional), I covered this in more detail in an older post.

Pre-requisites to do this are, a JBE3 (you won't be able to code it with a JBE2 installed), and an ICOM or a hacked ediabas/K+DCAN cable.

Does the TRSVC Module have to be one that only has a rearview camera connection? Or can it have multiple connections like the ones with side views?

Both works.

TRSVC from E70s comes with side view camera ports and if you have that one still works with the ONLY rear view but throws error on ISTA since side mirrors are missing.

First of all, big thanks to SyphonX for providing the e84 PDC binaries. After several months of trying to find an AliExpress seller who would actually ship my order, I finally received the 128k MCU and was able to (somewhat) successfully convert an e9X front/rear pdc to an e84 pdc. Thought I'd share my experience here in case anybody else wants to attempt this.

After installing the modified module, I was able to read its status/identity with INPA and read the coding data with NCS Expert, but no matter what I tried, writing new coding data would always fail with ERROR_ECU_DOWNLOAD_NOT_ACCEPTED. Coding was a necessity since the EEPROM dump from SyphonX was coded for 8 sensors and no camera. Without front sensors, the rear sensors stop working after a few seconds (don't ask me why...) and without the RVC option, the camera doesn't get activated. After screwing with it all weekend trying to get coding to work the normal way, I decided to try to figure out how to write the coding data directly to the EEPROM. With a little bit of detective work, here's how I did it:

Using the NETTODAT file I was able to read from the module, I was able to map each coding section to an address in EEPROM:
Code:
Varianten_Kodierung (0x00300000, 2 bytes): 0x5D
Fahrzeug_Konfiguration (0x00300100, 15 bytes): 0x60
Wandler_Cfg_hinten (0x00300200, 22 bytes): 0x73
Wandler_Cfg_vorne (0x00300300, 22 bytes): 0x8A
Schwellwert_Ecke_hinten (0x00300400, 10 bytes): 0xA1
Schwellwert_Mitte_hinten (0x00300500, 10 bytes): 0xAC
Schwellwert_Ecke_vorne (0x00300600, 10 bytes): 0xB7
Schwellwert_Mitte_vorne (0x00300700, 10 bytes): 0xC2
Totzeit_Echos (0x00300800, 6 bytes): 0xCD
Frequenz_Konfiguration (0x00300900, 2 bytes): 0x70
Parkmaster (0x00300B00, 17 bytes): 0xD4
You might notice that between each section there is an extra byte. This is the checksum for the preceding section, which is calculated by inverting the sum of the data bytes and then keeping only the LSByte.
Also, for completeness sake, the last 7 digits of the VIN are stored in ASCII at 0x3B
Using NCS Dummy, I was able to determine what each value needed to be set to for my e92 with only the rear sensors and RVC enabled. I then recalculated the checksums and flashed it to the EEPROM with the XPROG. Then, much to my surprise, everything was working correctly.

I'm still not sure why I wasn't able to write to the modified module. I suspect either the AliExpress MCU I got is a knockoff/reject and has some issue with writing to EEPROM, or maybe there's some sort of protocol difference with the e84 module that my JBE doesn't know how to handle.

For anyone who may be interested, I've attached my EEPROM bin which is configured for a pre-lci e92 335i with only rear sensors, m sport bumpers, and rearview camera.

I got my harness today to do the wiring. The can cables run the full length up to the front of the car. Before I dig in to cable this, is there a place to tap into the can under the dash, or did most people tap the can right off the pdc module in the rear?

I tapped mine into the CAN wires going into the CIC unit, which is how I think it is intended to be done.

That is a great find. Can you also make this with 8 sensor not just 4 sensor rear? Because it is codable option and you can run a Front and Rear PDC module with only rear enabled. No need to disable from the eeprom. But the RVC option being injected in to E9x PDC is the important part of this flash! Thank you for your input.

So, I have everything wired up fpr this retrofit. The e70 trsvc unit and camera are just sitting in the trunk for testing, but plugged in.

The vo option has been added.
The cic module coding is done.
Pdc was default coded with the provided files.

When I put the car in reverse I get the pdc on the right hand side of the screen. And it also shows the pdc in the center not camera. I do have the park menu on the left side, but everything is grayed out.

I double checked all the coding and everything is there. I'm stumped now. Maybe someone knows what's wrong.

I did notice when I use ncs and process the cic it shows cic.c08 but when I execute a read job it changes to cic.c1a. Is there a better way to check the firmware version? Now I'm questioning if it is c1a or c08.

If you executed and turned to c1a then ur version c1a no doubt. U need to code the PDC and TRSVC to make this work. You gotta make sure ur PDC also from E84.

Okay awesome so at least the cic is c1a.

I have the e84 pdc with matching part number from the write up. I double checked that I dropped the provided files in the correct place and default coded it again.

I thought the TRSVC worked without coding, but you need ICOM if you actually want to code it?

Yes, it should work without TRSVC coded. You dont have to have ICOM. I have tested and BimmerGeek pro cable capable of coding the TRSVC with JBBF3.

There must be something u re doing wrong or camera module is bad. I cant think of anything else.

Cool! I'm going to go back over everything and test all the wiring. I'll let you know what kind of user error I find.

Yeap, that is exactly what i thought. I am glad you sorted out. The best OEM Mode you can ever see on E series is this!
