I ordered the "19" Light alloy Double-spoke wheels style 220M-with performance tires" with my M3 (19 x 8.5 front, 19 x 9.5 rear, 245/35 front, 265/35 rear). No ZCP.

Recommended sizes are 15mm front and 10mm rear for M3s with ZCP. This will get the wheels flush with the fenders.

Tom,
We should add pictures of my car when I come in for the SmartTV install. It will offer good perspective for someone looking for spacers with BBS LM's. |

Gents, I have what many will consider a stupid question. Today, while talking with some other M3 owners, I mentioned that I was going to pick up a set of wheel spacers. One of the guys had mentioned that it's a stupid idea. His reasoning was that at over 130 mph the car will vibrate pretty harshly and won't stop until below 80. Now, I'm not driving at these speeds regularly, if ever, but it's a consideration worth mentioning. Anyone with more knowledge on this subject who could confirm or deny this please chime in. Thanks.

Not true at all. Ive run spacers on cars for years. If they're installed properly, you should have ZERO vibrations at any speeds. I run spacers right now on my winter setup and have hit these high speeds in question without any vibrations. Your friends are just dead wrong.

Is E93 any different than E90/E92?
Specifically I have OEM 19"s, and was interested in running 18mm front / 15mm rear spacers. Any problems there? |

FYI I noticed occasional rubbing with 15mm rear spacers on my E93 + 19" when going over large bumps with 2 or 3 passengers, all EDC settings, top up or down. Front 18mm's seem to be fine so far.
