Yep, MPE. Latest version. It's great! Sounds fantastic from the outside, and just the tiniest bit more aggressive inside. Should pair perfectly with the Evolve CF trio (plenum/lid/intake) that should be here next week.
I had Eisenmann Race on my e60 for a year or two. And although I absolutely loved how the car sounded from the outside, the change in the cabin was too much for my aging ears, so I specifically looked for something that wouldn't change the interior tone very much. I'll repeat what I've heard from others: This is how it should have come from the factory. |

I installed KW clubsport coilovers which have the latest spring rates (110 nmm front and 120 nmm rear). I bought the 140 nmm rear springs (from the old version) from KW to swap out but it was 20 mm shorter and I would therefore need to raise the adjuster 20 mm which went over the max height of the adjuster. I'm assuming the older version of the CS had a higher adjuster. Anyone did this swap before who can describe what they did? I also reused the rubber pad at the top of the shock (see circled item in pic) since I couldn't figure how to take it out. I'm assuming this is ok. Can anyone verify? For the front, I have to order new sway bar end links since the oem are too long. I've seen some KWs which came with end links, but mine didn't. Overall not too bad an install. Now I'm going to let it settle and then get an allignment.

![]() What group size is the original battery in our cars? H8? 49? 94R? Or does it not matter?

I tried Pirelli Pzero and took them on the same mountain route and returned the tires- they were awful and during a high speed sweeper lost grip momentarily in the rear. I never felt that sensation with Michelin's. Of course I went P4S on the M3 (still have the 335) but when the time comes may go a different route as my driving style is pretty routine (no track) cruiser.

are they interchangeable without issue? or is it best to stick with H8 size?
for whatever reason, no one seems to be running a sale on car batteries at the moment pepboys has 25% off but the website keeps failing the checkout

With my car nearing the 90k mile mark, it received a few Christmas presents via a local independent shop.
Rod bearings, motor mounts, new alternator and battery, Sachs coil overs, valve cover gasket replacement, wrinkle coat valve covers, DCT and diff fluid change. Car is a 2011, original rod bearings, 89500 miles. Last edited by ToddinTN; 01-20-2021 at 10:07 PM.. |

I ran H6 for a few years and never had a problem. There are adjustment holes at the battery location for using a smaller battery. Just be sure to push the batt towards the front of the car when using an H6. The bracket will line right up with the new hole for the H6

Not much, but I'm a bit OCD, so replaced a few missing things and added some Euro OEM+ touches. Just waiting on my Euro visors then onto to larger items!
