CarPlay I think does the handshake over Bluetooth then connects over WiFi. Not sure about android auto but they should both be wireless.

I bought the Carsara unit. Yes the idrive wheel works, the track skip buttons on the steering wheel works, the voice activation button pulls up Siri. There is a thread about the unit and others in the nav/coding section.

I did but since they forgot to send me the cable that passes the idrive video through the Carsara CarPlay box I can't get to the idrive to select the aux input or aux input volume. So I can see CarPlay fine just not idrive. Cable should be here by Saturday hopefully I can get that in set the input and test audio.

I totally forgot about the steering wheel button that changes input so I'll try that but if I recall it's like radio, cd, music collection (hard drive), and external devices. External devices has USB and aux input under it. If external devices doesn't default to aux I'll be screwed until I get the cable and can see idrive again.

Unsure yet. They do have side skirts that are well priced and of very high quality, as well as a complete carbon trim kit for the interior.

Very happy to have them extend their E9X M3 range, having quality carbon providers committed to our platform says a lot.

As you are probably aware bmw stopped making the e90 spoiler that fits both the M and non M e90. I currently have a cheap ecs spoiler I don't love but it is what it is.

Yep, all M Performance parts are discontinued for the E9X now. I have the OE M Performance wing and it is definitely worth the money over the reps IMO.

I believe 360Carbon makes an E90 spoiler in Germany, it's hand laid and affordable.
