Cheers,

Would love to hear your input about moving away from Dinan. I have a set of their ITBs awaiting install at some point, thinking it would be a great package, Karbonius intake, Dinan ITBs, Schrick 292s.

Perhaps with the 292 you would notice something, but you will need custom tuning. All the canned tunes do not take the Dinan t-bodies into account.

Chat with SYT_Shadow as he is running 292s on some stuff as well.

It sounds great! Stock cats/midpipe. Nicer sound and louder than the OEM 4-pipe mod, more beefiness. There's a little more pronounced bassy drone only around 2K, right where the DCT sits for conservative city cruising. It's alleviated with later shifts or more aggressive driving to get past that point.

However, the newly freed-up tone I haven't heard before at higher RPMs makes it worth it. I don't know where the Eisenmann fits in terms of "loud" or what you're looking for, but I don't like an obnoxiously loud exhaust and this works well for me. Highway speeds for drone and loudness are no issue; did a 4 hour roundtrip already.

For reference, the MPE was my first option in terms of what I was seeking but I couldn't pass up on the deal I got for this AA.
thanks for the reply

In short; I love them!

They are 1x1 pattern (roof matching) finished in high gloss 2k clear coat. The carbon is layed over an OEM BMW cap (ABS material). Fitment is thus 100% - everytime - no ifs and buts about it.

IMO it is the most cost effective and quality option available outside of the OE CF caps (750$ USD + shipping.

I'll be figuring out GB details shortly. Pictures are unedited.
I'm interested if the price is right.

I forgot who asked but here are more pics of the 3D diffuser.

One bolt on the left is not perfectly snug. The bolt isn't catching on the underside when I try to thread it. I need to get under there and fix it but I dont have a lot of time these days. Otherwise it fits great.

definitely helps hide the Corsa cans. Not sure I'll put a diffuser on this thing yet. What spoiler is that? Are you happy with it? I can't source an e90 OEM spoiler.

LOL - too funny. Same garage issues for me. Except I need space for not only the squat rack but also an olympic platform. Dropping snatches and clean and jerks needs quite a bit of space, so the M3 gets pulled into the driveway during my lifting sessions (which are obviously not in the gym these days with COVID).

Yeah. The platform is actually on the other side of the garage, but my garage is really a 1.75 car garage , not a true 2-car, so it's just a bit too close for comfort. I would never want to risk an errant bar getting away from me and destroying my baby.

Do you not find there is not enough clearance between the diffuser and the pipe tips? when they vibrate, do they rub? I had this issue with an RW diffuser of a very similar design and I think I had a little more clearance than you seem to have. after a pretty short while, both the pipe tips and diffuser had minor cosmetic damage , on the tips it was right in the MPE's "M" logos.

Sourced a set of 219M's for the rainy season and slapped some MP4S & MPSS on them. Was also curious how much they weighed...fronts are factory size 245/40 while rears are 275/40.

It probably does rub but I'll live with it if minor cosmetic stuff is the only real downside. I'll keep an eye on it, good call.

Are rainy season wheels really necessary in SF?
