Scheduled an appointment to get my Bilstein B6 Damptronic shocks put on the car. New O2 sensors and Oil change while it's on a the lift. So hopefully by next week that will be done.

Went for a rip and got to see the sun set against the hazy smoke filled California sky.

Nice work on that console. I have the same parts ready to install. Though the climate trim panel is without the button cut outs since I will try to remove/hide the auto on/off and the rest are blanks.

Looking forward to your thoughts on the B6 shocks! They're going to replace my EDCs when they die.

Took an overnight trip out to Lake Forest and introduced the new girl to Malek @ MRF Engineering this morning. New rod bearings and ARP bolts. Yes, she's filthy from the travel...

Gave the interior a quick cleaning, Swissvax leather cleaner for the bolsters, Griot's fabric/interior cleaner for the cloth center, Cockpit Premium for the plastics and a fresh set of new OEM floormats to finish it off.

Picked up my dream car 2011 E93 M3 in Melbourne Red about 2 months ago (covid deal FTW!). The car had only 25k miles, but it was always the 4th or 5th car for the previous owner and accumulated many small details to fix. I bought the car with Christmas lights on the dash and found many other surprises as I went along. Truly THANKS to you guys at m3post, I've been able to get the car to 98% of where I want it to be! This is the first picture after all the work done. I took the picture at the Panama Canal.

List of fixes/mods over the last 2 months.
- Fixed the roof not going up and down (Salmon relays!). This was a huge initial headache that made me reconsider my purchase decision.
- Reconditioned roof seals and lithium lubed the joints (no more squeaking and leaks)
- Full paint correction and ceramic coating
- Oil change
- Coded out TPMS with Alpine Coding
- Fixed EDC error at the rear (you have to pretty much take the whole rear lining apart to access the E93 shocks).
- AVIN head unit and backup camera
- Replaced tail light with broken leds
- New oem M3 floor matts
- New leather center console
- IND color matched reflectors
- Black gloss vinyl wrapped window trim
- Replaced all 4 ABS speed sensors
- Replaced previous owner's cheapo wheels and spacers with AG M359 and tires. Much more stable and smooth ride without the spacers. Really impressed with the AG wheel paint and finish.
- Steel wooled and Mothers Polished the chrome tailpipes (they were terrible before)
- Full leather cleaning and repair of the side bolsters
- Removed soft touch from interior trim, sanded, and repainted with colorbond
- New steering wheel trim and fat rewrapped steering wheel with M stitching and red M button

Thanks Mike!

I bought the steering wheel from atlanticship on eBay. I believe it is a rewrapped used steering wheel. Feels FANTASTIC compared to the hard OEM wheel and I got it at a great price. I think he is selling the same one here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-M-SPORT...UAAOSwN7BdSrIa

You can get a mewant leather cover and wrap the wheel yourself too. I recently decided to do this cause it’s so cheap and figured I’d I didn’t like it I’ll send the wheel out to get redone.

Vacuumed out an unwanted rider...

Hadn't had her out in a few days, apparently everyone wants a ride in the //M
Spider the size of a dime made a nice little web across the back seat and was hugging the ceiling.

I would've had to just sell the car at that point.

Replaced the OEM halogen bulbs with Lux LED's last night, cleaned some dried up dead bugs out of the third brake light housing and sadly stuck on the front plate.

Over the last few days I spent whatever uninterrupted free time I had to finally install the B16 Damptronic coilovers, Ground Control Street camber plates, and new OEM tie rods. The suspension install went so smoothly without any issue at all, so naturally one of the tie rod ball joint nuts had to give me a fit. Mofo was totally seized to the thread and I had to cut it off. All is well now though! Alignment on Friday, trackday on the 12th! Can't wait!

I’ve had my E93 about a month now and I went from:

AZA Auto Wheel: ooooooooh
atlanticship: ahhhhh
Mewant: That’s amazing!

** watches mewant installation video **

Yeah so atlanticship and AZA look cool...
