Just took off the Eisenmann Race that came with my car and replaced it with the stock exhaust to keep from pissing my wife off constantly.

Man stock sucks! The things you do for love.

Need to try to find an M Performance or something that is less annoying on cold start and doesn't drone and just keep it below 4,000 with her in the car.

it's amazing this person didn't crash into anyone or anything, at least while i was watching

i really wanted to keep following this person to make sure CHP arrived
had to call a 2nd time because we went another 8 miles or so and got to downtown LA area where it was getting much more congested
then i had to go a different direction

PSA - GET A DASHCAM
this is footage from a Viofo A129 Duo, 2-channel dashcam

working on a BBK kit with a current member using the CLS63 6 piston calipers. I believe his 360mm brackets are almost complete and waiting for the 380mm kit. Will get these rebuilt and re-powder coated with the Brembo logo on them.

Did a quick oil change over lunch. Oil only had 3700 miles on it, and CBS didn't ask for it, but it's been over 15 months so figured it was due. Oil still looked pretty decent and filter looked clean.

You think that's bad? I just changed mine at 937 miles after 12 months. Working from home, spending most weekends doing projects around the house, and the M3 being a 2nd car don't help.

Oil still looked quite new, but it's one of those things that's cheap enough to just do every 12 months despite the mileage being so low.

how long did the quick oil change take?

the car takes forever to drain
so that limits how fast the oil change can be completed
i'm going to have to time myself next time

I am really impressed with many of you guys with some really low mileage cars. I just rolled 50k myself and its hard not to put at least 500 miles a month on it.

Hats off to many of you for having that much restraint!

Just got these in today as well. Just in time for the big storm!

Well, alright...maybe not that quick. The oil does indeed take a while to drain. I let it go for about 45 min before it finally stopped. So by elapsed time probably about 1:20 including quickjack, but I had a nice lunch while it drained, LOL. I do still have to bottle up the old oil for recycling, so I guess I'm not completely "done".

Haha. I would like to, but with COVID, my office is now closed through end of year and there really aren't that many places to go. But I am planning a couple of road trips with my daughter to finally check out some more college campuses (we were supposed to do the visits in the spring and early summer but most have been closed to visitors).

This ones requires shaving some of the caliper off right?

Nope, the 360mm brackets fit 18" wheels with no issues or modifications. The 380mm kit will fit with no issues or modifications as well. I wish I could give more details but its not my project. Im just getting ready for when he releases the brackets.

No I meant that I recalled reading that the mounting surface of the AMG caliper has to be machined 3mm or something like that
