Cleaned all weather floor mats and vacuumed the interior a bit. Also half assed cleaned the engine bay.

Stage 1 Alpine Motorsport Tune & DCT Flash by Alex.

Installed the stage 1 Alpine Motorsport Tune and DCT Flash from Alex. Extremely pleased with this and the customer service from Alex. At first I thought it was my butt Dyno but after a few drives it was clear, it just felt better. The car pulls harder at every rev range. The throttle is more responsive. Shifts are crisper, smoother and faster, No more shift lag. Switching between P and R, R and D is smooth n quick. D mode is even funner to drive, the downshifts kick in quicker and the rev matching is on point. The car really should have come from the factory like this. Took my girlfriend for a ride and after a few pulls she looks over n says "what did you do to you car?! It feels faster" 😄🤣

Can't wait to see what stage 2 does when my Gintani xpipe comes in next week! Highly recommend this tune! You won't be disappointed.

Went to the dentist today, the only place where I can go inside and be around other people while not wearing a mask.

Noticed this Prius is also Interlagos Blue! Twice as much license plate as my M3 but half the tire.

Also got Bilstein B6 Damptronic in the mail along with new front and rear strut mounts not too long ago. Not sure when they are going on the car. Was hoping to get a Corsa exhaust and have it done all at once. Man this would have been a lot cheaper had a bought a used ZCP suspension with less miles. Oh well..

Will you be pairing them up with lowering springs like Swift or H&R? I am also thinking of buying these too.

question for anyone who still has the stock calipers... Is this the front caliper carrier bolt? The part number came off RealOEM pointing to the e-torx bolt... But most videos shown on youtube are actual hex bolts?
Reason is I am refreshing parts, and in process swapping a rebuilt caliper set.

Eibach would be another option but at the moment I was thinking just use the zcp springs. Not a lot of others with zcp and Bilstein b6 so hard to say what's best.

Einach set is pretty soft. My b12 pro kit bottoms out the front very often in the shitty South Bay roads

You were 100% my neighbor at some point, this is outer or inner sunset, yeah? Hit up Marco Svizzero at @msvizerro on instagram and maybe check out his S65 1M. Nice guy and also in the sunset.

I can't remember whether mine was hex or torx, but just make sure it's M12x1.5x43 mm and you'll be good.

That pic was Santiago and 17th St where I parked to go walk to my dentist. I live in potrero now, bernal before that. A 1m with s65 sounds ridiculous!

The size is right(M12x1.5x43) though..But I kinda wonder/doubt if the torx head can take 110NM that front caliper requires

Actually, the torx should take more torque before stripping. The external torx version is listed as a "genuine bmw" part on FCPeuro.

25th and Taraval.

Marco's 1M is seriously crazy, he has CF wheels, full light weighting, everything, and he has another 135i 1M conversion, plus a 2002. I DM'd him and he said he'd take me for a ride. Maybe when this is all over he'd be willing. Worth the experience IMO, his 1M was on Jay Leno's Garage.
