One of the most frustrating things I've found in my S2K is not having the power on the straight aways so I'm stuck behind a high HP car driven by a slower driver and the guy isn't experience enough to understand that just because your car is faster in a straight line doesn't mean you are pulling a faster lap time. They treat HPDE like a race and NONE of those guys should be in advanced regardless of how fast their lap times are.

I have days that I just let off the gas and wait 30 sec to go again, or those days that I dive bomb in the last second....since those high hp cars are usually the expensive one, I know they are aware if im on his ass

Haha yeah, that C4 was not stock. It wrecked me in the straights. He wasn't a horrible driver either.

That's why can only lower run groups of advanced ppl and not let novice into advanced just because of car which I stated above.

It's honor system.

If a guy with zero track days signs up with a viper in the race group, there is no real way to keep people from doing that.

Not to mention, he'll get weeded out pretty quick or wreck his shit. Either way, he'll get weeded out.
