My car is also sitting in Bremerhafen. The WW web page tracking doesn't show the car, but it might go on a K-Line ship heading fro Brunswick, GA. Their next ship is leaving December 7th.
I'll be out of town Dec 15-28 anyway. But I hope to get it before thr $1,500 holiday cash runs out.

...and the FIDELIO is just now sailing out of port. *fingers-crossed* for everyone who was waiting for a ship (me included)!

Funny, I just looked 5 min ago and also saw it.
My car doesn't show up on the WW tracking page. Does yours?
My suspicion is I will be on the K-Line ship leaving in 3 days.

Apparently the tracking on WWL's site is pretty bad. A lot of people have gotten confirmation in the past from their dealer and the tracking never really showed up. I'm going to wait until Monday and if it hasn't shown up by then I'll check with my dealer.

Its definitely hit and miss. Worked for my last two cars. I'd rather have my car on the Curitiba, gets into Brunswick a few days earlier.

Doing some creative searches on the WWL tracking site... I only find one BMW VIN loaded on the FIDELIO in Bremerhaven, which just seems too strange to be true. I don't really want to post someone's VIN, but if your VIN ends in 444 you're probably on the FIDELIO.

Call your dealer -- once your car actually begins being built a VIN is assigned and they should be able to give it to you. You will need your VIN in order to find it on the WWL tracking (assuming you are on one of their ships).

Ok. Thanks. I'm not one to bother my CA, but I'll contact him.

EDIT: got VIN

Garage List
2012 BMW E92 M3  [0.00]
Called the 800 number and it says my vehicle is at the port awaiting a shipping vessel. I hope mine was on the Fidelio too but I think it is unlikely...

Does it seem possible that only 2 BMW's were loaded onto the FIDELIO in Bremerhaven? That is all I am finding through the CargoID searches. Going back to the 27th I see only a total of 14 BMW's going onto 3 ships (FIDELIO, FALSTAFF, and TRISTAN) out of Bremerhaven.

WWL has a search function for their cargo ID's... which are apparently the VIN number.
  1. Go to their website (must use Internet Explorer)
  2. http://www.2wglobal.com/www/wep/
  3. Click on the option 'All Users' under Track & Trace (lower right-hand corner of the screen)
  4. On the window that POPS up, type into the Cargo-ID field something like 'WB%5422' to search for your VIN (% is a wildcard)
  5. Sometimes it takes several minutes to generate the list... sometimes it is very fast.

With some understanding of the VIN format and some creative searching with that and the booking field you can get pretty large lists very easily.

I have heard it varies. Some people clear within a day or so -- some have dragged on for weeks! I think the general estimate is about 10 days from when it arrives at the VPC to being ready at the dealership.

Oh, thanks, % as wildcard I worked for me in Firefox, I don't have Internet Exploder, only Mac and Linux. Didn't work with Chrome or Safari.
