That looks fantastic! I’m eyeing some Sportsters from Max as well. Probably basic black leather, but with SAB/heat. He’s the man. Anxious to hear about your driving impressions with them. Comfort, ingress/egress, etc. |

Looks amazing!! Fitment and color looks fantastic!
I've wanted sportsters too but just can't seem to pull the trigger $$ too many other expenses at the moment!

Looks great! Did you do the coding to remove the SAB, AHR and occupancy sensors?

Just a quick reminder that Alex@Alpine is the man! Texted him this afternoon asking if he could code out the airbag and seatbelt warnings from the seat install and he got back to me within the hour and told me to login so he could connect!
Even though the coding cable i had was not optimal, he made it work and had the warning lights turned off within 30 minutes! Can't recommend Alex enough for coding, ECU tune & GTS DCT tune!

81,000 Miles WHAT: Induktiv Wireless Charger integrated in OEM Sunglass Tray New Cupholder Trim Piece So I was recently looking at swapping out my center console ash tray with the factory sunglass tray as I pretty much only used the ash tray to store gum wrappers and loose change. I figured it would also be a good spot to keep my phone while driving so I didn't have it between my legs all the time. Soon into my research, I came across this new integrated wireless charger by Induktiv. It looked like a clean setup, and also came with the OEM sunglass tray, so I said why not give it a shot and add even more functionality to my interior. The fit and finish looks factory (as it should considering it uses the OEM sunglass tray), and the charger is actually relatively quick, around 1% per minute. Install was a breeze, just remove the center console, unplug the electrical connectors and simply use the provided connector + resistor and plug straight into the factory cigarette lighter plug under the console. Also, I have confirmed fitment with phone sizes up to the iPhone 11 Pro Max with the Silicon Case from Apple. There's still a little room to spare, so if you ave something larger than that, you may be out of luck, but I think that's plenty of space for MOST phones! For those of you interested, you can purchase here: https://induktivcharging.com/collect...-charging-unit If you already have the sunglass tray, you only need the charger, if not, you will need the charger + OEM tray option. If anyone is serious about ordering, I have a promo code for 30% off if you PM me! Lastly, my cupholder trim piece was a but scuffed up, so I got a new one. Here's some pics of the charger as well as everything taken apart and put back together: ![]() . ![]() . ![]() . ![]() . ![]() . ![]() . ![]() . ![]() . ![]() Fresh New Trim Piece: ![]() . ![]()

82,500 Miles WHAT: Turner Motorsport Front Undertray (Splash Guard) Well, after constant frustrations of how low the factory splash guard hung and always scraping it on speed bumps and such, I finally caved and joined in on a Group Buy for the Turner Undertray. I initially considered going with the MPorium tray, but after seeing that specific one on a car at MRF it seemed a bit "budgeted" aka:cheap. Saw a group buy pop up on a E9x M3 FB Group and jumped on it. Turner had some hiccups with shipping due to not having their mounting brackets completed, but it was still a relatively quick turnaround. Thanks to Perry who organized the GB. My shipment arrived in two pieces (on 2 separate days unfortunately) with the large tray arriving second to the mounting pieces and endplates. I figured it wouldn't be a difficult install, so I immediately went to work on it when I got home. Very straightforward install for the most part aside from one small issue which I will go over below. There were a few screws that didn't want to line up properly, so I will probably get back under when I have some more time and wiggle things around a bit more to try to get them all in properly. There's ALOT of screws! Pics of the old tray (the center piece wasn't in horrible shape, it's always the corner pieces that get mangled: ![]() Here's all the Turner Tray pieces: ![]() SUPER sturdy piece. There's no way anything is penetrating this thing while driving on the road. While it adds a little weight, it more than makes up for it in regards to ground clearance and protection. In regards to the issue I ran into, the hole in the support brace which you must use to mount the support braces to the frame, they use a coating on the braces which reduce the size of the hole for the screw to go thru. Initially I thought it was a manufacturing defect, but after hitting it with a quick 5/16 drill bit, it opened it up enough to allow the screw thru so that you have adjustability when attaching the brace to the frame rail. This wasn't mentioned in the Turner DIY or the other one I found on Youtube, so in case anyone runs into the same problem, fairly easy solution. ![]() Overall I am happy with the build quality of the piece and the price doesn't break the bank, so i'd definitely recommend it!

are those brackets designed to break when it does hit something? The old felt pieces had hangers which I am led to believe is for crash purposes?

Some updated interior pics! Still need to heat gun the creases on the passenger side, but the drivers side seems to have almost worked themselves out.

Toying with the idea of selling this beautiful thing and moving onto some new scenery...
If anybody is interested, feel free to let me know. I'll probably post a feeler thread soon. Edit: I am only looking for offers for the car as-is at this time. Please no PM's about parting out. I'll post a separate thread if that ends up happening. Thank you!

Hey there! I think I currently own that twin 2009 E90 M3 you mentioned that got away from you in 2016 ;P
100k miles later, im the 3rd owner. I recently acquired it from the 2nd owner who lives in SF CA. I'm curious to know who or where was originally selling this car back in 2016? I've been trying to find the original FS listing on google but nothing seems to pop up with the vin number |

Yep! This car had an engine replacement done at MRF at around 60k miles in 2017 lol. From a quick search, seems like SHIFT went out of business. I tried looking them up and wasn't able to find much.
I'm curious to know how common or rare is this spec? I see you sold yours do you miss it ? |
