Hey, guys, sorry to bring up an old thread.
Im very good with coding, was following steps in this thread and was able to code/opt out from stupid FTM system with success (2008 US E90 in Canada, NO Nav), but now i have issue with "DSC" module where i CANNOT, in any way, clear neither front or rear pad sensor errors (worn through). I have IstaD ready and it refuse to clear this, before manipulation with edited FA and coding DSC the pad sensors were good! I cannot for the life of me find out why some people say one have to add option $265 to VO. Can someone clarify what is this option is, i cant decode it... And i did few Canadian (never came with TPMS, only FTM) E90 vins and that line is never there.... Also, do i really need to default code NFRM? Some say yes some let it slip....

For my front and rear pad sensors I cut them off and solder the wires together, then put some heatshrink over them. Perhaps you can’t clear them bc you simply unplugged them and the system sees that as a persistent sensor fault?

Need a little help here, I followed the instructions from first page but I'm still having an issue. I have 2010 335d, so no MDSC, instead it's MK60_87 I think. Anyway, when I try to reset my FTM it says activating and tires turn green after just several seconds even without driving the car.
In my DSC file there is no RPA or AUSSTATTUNG_RPA line to activate it, I only have C0F_RPA and it was already set to wert_00. Any ideas greatly appreciated |

UPDATE
To all those that have same issue as I did, when FTM reset selected it just activates after several seconds whether you drive the car or not, it in fact does perform a reset in the background. I was able to confirm this with ISTA under DSC module, it did take about 30 miles of driving. DSC has three different monitoring speeds, 0-110 km, 110-190 km, and 190-260 km. I only did 0-110 km since it was taking forever. Once it was at 100% I let some air out of one of the tires and in fact less than a mile later I had a warning pop up on the instrument cluster as well as in I-drive. The only negative, it doesn't show which tire is low, all the tires changed to yellow in the I-drive display. Hope it helps |
