Now, the second waiting game: When will it show up on the site with all the options pricing?

For me Space Grey is boring. It isn't the kind of color that you'd notice out on the street.

Yes, Space Gray doesn't stand out in general, but one has to keep in mind what will look good on this car as opposed to judging the color on its own. Making that call without the seeing different colored M3s in person will be tough I think. I have a feeling Space Gray might look great on the M3. I would have considered it, but my current car is silver, and I want to try something other than gray. I also have a feeling people might think differently about MR if they saw a MR car in person.

I hope he's wrong. At that price the GTR is the same price or cheaper. Also the savings of importing one from the US gets pretty large. I'm expecting the Canadian car will come with a bunch of stuff as standard that are options in the US. |

Lucky Yanks: cheap everything, less tax, better weather, and the list goes on...
The approximate current U.S.-equivalent price for an E92M that is similarly specced to a U.K. car is £32,000, which is about £20,000 (i.e. $39k) cheaper than British prices!! I think that the British price for the E93M with EDC and 19s is gonna be £58,000 (and I'm guessing that the American price shall be $72,000). So despite being number one on the order-list for South-East London for the E93M, I now feel like buying an ex-demo - cos I think that the car shall lose around £8k ($15.5k) within the first year! |

I *did* see it on a 335, but I appreciate your point. It was a cloudy day, and that person might not have the slightest clue about detailing.

I forgot about that part of your post. I am still wondering if it would look different on the M3 vs. the 335. The panels, bumpers, hood, etc. are fairly nuanced, which can go away with the wrong color--my concern with Jerez.

Honestly, the whole grey just looked flat. Again, a good polish might do the trick. However, when my somewhat conservative-about-appearances wife thinks something looks boring.....

Im flippin' between AW & SG. Going over to look at SG 335i today. Think I'll stick with white, though.

Waiting Game...
And, the THIRD waiting game -- when will the convertible be officially announced?! With the leaked photos, I assumed we'd see an announcement at Detroit. I guess we'll have to wait for Geneva. I want to place an order, darn it!!
